This is one of the most down to earth books I’ve read – so real, so practical and so full of life of the norm. “Glass Ceilings” by A.M. Madden is all about love found and lost, of sacrifices and second chances. Simple plot yet with a wealth of emotions, Nick Farley and Angela Cavallo will steal your heart with their pure goodness, simplicity and the fierce protectiveness for their loved ones.
A one-night stand with Angela Cavallo leaves FBI Agent Nick Farley wanting more and he’s never forgotten her. Two years later coming face to face with her leaves Nick angry and a thirst for answers that compromises his position. As secrets come to the open and Angela’s life is threatened, Nick has to make some serious decisions to accommodate the son he never knew about and his feelings for Angela.
“Glass Ceilings” is a must read and am pretty impressed with A. M. Madden as this is my first read of this author. She did a fabulous job with Nick and Angela, two strong characters, facing life’s twists and turns, facing danger and trying to get past the hurt to build a future – a love story with forgiveness and second chances, beautiful characters and a great supporting cast.
