All I can say about Delores Fossen is that she’s got the “Finger On The Trigger” of her readers as she characterizes one amazing cowboy story after another! Fast and furious, intense and passionate, dangerous and deadly, her stories always have an element of mystery adding flavor to the story.

“Finger On The Trigger” is no different as Ranger Griff Morris and Rachel McCall battle the attraction between them as they wage a war against the threat shadowing a pregnant Rachel. Griff sure has his hands full with not only protecting Rachel, but also the baby she’s carrying.

Another fast paced story sure to keep you captivated!

Melody Anne’s “Undercover Billionaires” continues to captivate as billionaire “Owen” is sucked into the flames of passion with his childhood sweetheart Eden. They share a past of love, betrayal and secrets, and Owen and Eden have lost a lot.

With Owen becoming a hotshot firefighter, he takes his oath of protecting others very seriously and Eden is his heart and soul for whom he would lay down his life. But then with a serial arsonist as the sublime story, Owen comes under suspicion and Eden’s life rests in his hands.

With each billionaire brother the series definitely gets interesting to read. I wasn’t a big fan of “Kian”, the first in the series, but definitely a fan of Melody Anne. And am glad I stayed with the series an I enjoyed “Arden” and now “Owen”.

Lauren Dane writes some pretty interesting romantic suspenses and the Chase Brothers sure set the ball rolling. I don’t get a chance to read as often, but anytime I pick a book of hers, her stories leave me with warm feelings and the satisfaction of reading a good romance.

The last standing single Chase sibling Matt, finally succumbs to the charms of the salon owner Tate Murphy in Lauren Dane’s saga of the Chase Brothers in her latest “Making Chase”. A chance accident lands Tate into the hands of firefighter Matt, and the race against heart and mind begins. Past insecurities and fears keep Tate from accepting the attraction between them, and Matt has to be extra patient to assure Tate of his intentions.

With a supportive family on both ends, brotherly and sisterly advices floating around, humor and affection giving them an extra hand, “Making Chase” is a delightful read..

The Westerly Billionaires are getting interesting by each story with Hollywood superhero Eric Westerly getting into the crosshairs of love.  Hiding behind a mask of a superhero, Eric is trying to come to terms with the dynamics of a family torn apart by deception and betrayal. He may have millions, but with his life in shambles as he tries to keep his feet grounded from near death, Sage Revere may be his only salvation.

Plant psychologist/happiness therapist meet Hollywood hero, hiding in his Bat cave! Poles apart in their careers and lifestyles, Sage and Eric connect at the most basic level of attraction, empathy and as soulmates.

“Hollywood Heir” is definitely an interesting read as Sage discovers the real person behind the mask and Eric sees life through Sage’s eyes. Throw in some interesting secondary characters and family, you’ve got a funny romantic Hollywood story!

As always, Melody Anne does not disappoint with her love story!

Kendra Elliot and Melinda Leigh are co-writing a new series is always a reading pleasure. Widow’s Island Series is compilation of short novellas featuring childhood friends FBI Agent Cate Wilde and local Deputy Tessa Black as they unravel the mysteries of their remote island home.

CloseToTheBone-Widow'sIslandSeries#1-KendraElliot-Oct2018

“Close To The Bone” is the first in the series penned by Kendra Elliot as Cate Wilde returns home to recuperate from an injury. But instead of resting, skeletal remains found on the island drew her into a crime that brings the past and present to an end. And the new resident Doctor Henry Powers weighs in with his skills to help the case and his charm to woo Cate Wilde.

A short and with a very tight narrative, “Close To The Bone” delivers another enthralling read. Kendra Elliot has always been so good with her thrillers, characterizations and subtle romantic nuances, be it a longer story or a short novella.
