I’ll most likely be so sad to see this “Most Likely” series end so soon. Stories of three friends, their pasts and presents, their hopes and dreams, all so beautifully penned by Catherine Bybee.

The final book, “Making It Right”, gives the rebel of Rive Bend, OR, her very own happy ending as she finally puts a closure to the mystery surrounding her father’s death. Inheriting her father’s legacy as the Sheriff of River Bend, Jo Anne Ward is desperate for some action, as the tiny town makes her job too easy. Signing up for expert law enforcement training is a turning point of her life, bringing special FBI agent Gill Clausen into her life.

As they work together at the training seminar, they also work together in quenching the lustful thirst of desire that sparks between them. To Jo’s restless heart, Gill is her anecdote of patience. As things turn dangerous in River Bend, Gill is the shield of protection that helps in bringing home the truth of Jo’s father’s death and secrets buried long ago.

A brilliant end to the series as she finally gives Jo her dream of moving out of River Bend, yet close enough to visit her friends. A protective and calm federal agent who gives her new lease of live, beyond River Bend and a dream job with a future together, “Making It Right” for Jo and her friends.

It’s a beautifully narrated story, charming with witty dialogues, the essence of friendship and care so eloquently shown, the passion and love sublime and the whole story just gives off warmth that fills a heart with pleasure and happiness.

As Bybee says, “Sometimes, friends are all the family we need.”

Catherine Bybee is one of the most beautiful and entertaining writers I’ve had the pleasure of reading and re-visiting several times and this is one series you definitely don’t want to miss reading.

Catherine Bybee is one of the most beautiful and entertaining writers I’ve had the pleasure of reading and re-visiting several times. Her new series “The Most Likely To” series stars three childhood friends and their lives, as life takes them on different paths, and yet they all come to a crossroads where they converge and support each other through the touch times. Sometimes, friends are all the family we need, as Bybee says.

The pioneer of her new series, “Doing It Over” brings Melanie Bartlett back home to River Bend, along with her seven year daughter to do just that – do her life over leaving a bad and obsessive relationship behind. Coming home to her childhood friends Jo and Zoe is a safe haven as she regroups and tries to build a new life. Meeting the resident building contractor Wyatt Gibson is an added motivation and support of her new beginnings.

Catherine Bybee has an amazing talent of interlacing romance, suspense and danger that the narration flows as smooth as silk. Melanie and Wyatt have been caricatured to perfection – independent, stubborn, courageous and protective. Hope as the adorable, mature and spunky seven year old reminded me of my younger daughter! Miss. Gina as the kickass owner of Miss. Gina’s Bed-And-Breakfast is a reading riot and will be a standing fixture in this series for sure.

Another charming and captivating read from the effervescent Catherine Bybee!!!
