Sensual and passionate may be Sam Brody’s kisses, but I got to say that Jill Shalvis’s penning leaves me all hot and bothered!!! Every story is as different as chalk and cheese and every character is as different as silk and velvet and every scene seems to come right out of her backyard whether she talks about Man-Repellant PJs or raccoons housing the trash.
The tenth installment in her Lucky Harbor Series, “It’s In His Kiss” brings Sam Brody and Becca Thorpe together on the sensual sands of the Pacific Ocean. Sam is an amazing boat-builder and a genius investor, partnering with his two best friends Tanner and Cole, and runs the Lucky Harbor Charters. With irresistible charm and kisses that can melt panties (as they say), he shies away from long term relationships until Becca comes along and anchors him with her curves and sassiness.
Becca leaves her claustrophobic city life and ends on the shores of Lucky Harbor to make a new life. A lady with a heart of gold and ready to give her shirt off her back to anyone needy, she has a lot of pain and loneliness to get over despite having a family. Yet she never lets her past rule her present to make a future for herself – for Becca Thorpe. She falls for the Sexy Grumpy Surfer-Boy and goes all the way, wishing and hoping that her love gets returned in spades and more.
It’s In His Kiss is another endearing and cute story out of Shalvis’s treasure trove. Revisiting older characters from her previous stories is always a treat. And how can we forget Lucille and her social media prowess as she leaves Facebook and Twitter on the back burner to pin interests on her boards on Pinterest!
Looking forward to Olivia and Cole killing each other to get to their fine HEA, coming soon.

Its no surprise what a pleasure it is to read Lori Foster’s books. She’s been one of my all-time favorites for a few years now and enjoyed her stories to the hilt. She creates heroes with enough testosterone to give us sleepless nights (and not to forget hairy heroes!!! ;)), definitely my kind of guys!!!Her stories have no limits on witty and sassy heroines, protective and alpha heroes and pages of thrills, charms and scintillating chemistry.
Lori’s latest release in her ULTIMATE series “No Limits”, a partial spin-off of her LOVER UNDERCOVER Series, brings us up close and personal with Cannon and Yvette. These two are an extension from her “Dash Of Peril” story and have gone through a traumatic experience and time separates them.
Cannon Colter comes back to his hometown drawn by a surprise inheritance, and the same inheritance that brings back Yvette Sweeney back to her roots, bittersweet and painful at the same time. Cannon is the quintessential guy, who even as a teenager was against drugs and mans his hometown along with his friends keeping kids out of trouble and helping law enforcement. All protective and very humble, he could never forget Yvette and a cannon to reckon.
Yvette Sweeney comes back home after her grandfather’s demise and to take care of the inheritance that went to her and Connor equally. Once Yvette was infatuated with Cannon and now seeing him again, she knows realizes that infatuation is love now. Trauma and pain have taken a toll on her confidence and she wants to put a closure to those painful memories and make a new life. Brave and sweet is Yvette.
Circumstances force Connor and Yvette to stay under the same roof, and fate lends a helping hand for them to give a name to their feelings for each other. A super sweet story from Lori, with love and passion, bravery and courage, humility and friendship, can’t help falling in love with Cannon, Yvette and their group of supportive friends.
No Limits can be read as a standalone, but trust me when I say you will be tempted to go back to read where it all started and the alpha heroes of the Love Undercover series!

Delores Fossen is a brand new author in my list and “Maverick Sheriff” was a surprise package of danger, suspense and love.
First in a new series titled “Sweetwater Ranch”, Maverick Sheriff brings us up close and personal with Cooper McKinnon and his family steeped in a past of betrayal and murder. As close as he is with an ongoing murder trial that hits very close to home, he is a man of honor and integrity and he wears justice on his sleeve.
A chance meeting with the Assistant DA, Jessa Wells and her adopted son Liam, with a rare blood type, sets the ball rolling for a series of events of danger and threat that seem to tie him with Jessa and his past. Jessa is the attorney trying to put a closure to a decades old murder, even as she fights her feelings for Cooper. She loves Liam with her very being and would lay her life for him.
Danger and circumstances bring Cooper, Jessa and Liam under one roof. As Cooper and Jessa try to come to terms with their feelings for each other, they join forces to put an end to the threat hovering around Liam and Jessa.
This is a fast paced, adrenaline pumping page-turner. A definite enjoyable read as Delores keeps the suspense and thrill on every page, and it is also an introduction to the many facets of the McKinnon family, as they try to mend fences and give the past a burial, in the forthcoming books of the series. I am definitely looking for the next book in the series.
