A new series, new characters, with a glimpse of the olden and golden characters making a welcome appearance.

Katie Reus’s new series, “Redemption Harbor Security” continues with Constantine in the crosshairs of love “Fighting For Reece”. Both have a past with fears and insecurities to deal with and going undercover as a couple at a spa retreat sets the stage to get past those fears, if they can survive the death around them.

I like these new characters in her new series. Loyal, faithful and devoted to each other, I’d love to see the rest of the siblings finding their true love. Katie Reus is a pro with her narration and plots and reading her stories is always a balm to my heart. I enjoy them to the fullest!

A night of fun with her best friends becomes the last night for the unsuspecting sixteen year old Jenna. A random death that leaves her parents with a grief, unsaid and unexplained. But for Lieutenant Eve Dallas, death is personal, always. The why of the murder is what fascinates Eve more than the how. The why is what feeds her intelligent and experienced mind the start to an investigation, to bring justice to the victims.

With her tenacious and insightful mind, murder board, Peabody, Roarke and her team of passionate law enforcement always at her back, Eve Dallas will go to any lengths to bring down the psychopath consumed with hatred and fixated on killing young people.

But, what I love the most about J. D. Robb and her Death series is the growth of Eve’s and Roarke’s relationship. From the time they met, to getting married, to falling into a wife and husband status, both have matured and nurtured each other, family lost, as well as an extended family. These glimpses that J. D. Robb gives importance to in her narrations and pages, makes my heart full.

Writing the Death series as J. D. Robb, Nora Roberts is always topnotch with narration, plot and incorporating intense research. Be it suspense, paranormal, romance or law enforcement, she is unsurpassable!

Marina Adair’s second book in the Sierra Vista series, “Second First Kiss” is an entertaining read. But do not miss the undercurrents of emotion, the desire to have a companion, and the intense need to have a family and keep it all together.

Kat Rhodes is a character you’ll fall in love with her sassy attitude that shelters so much longing, hurt and fear. A sister to take care of, and a father MIA, she has a lot at stake. Throw in a federal agent who loves her, only wants to become her support and make her his, forever is enough for Kat to keep her distance.

Nolan Carmichael, the federal agent and a rule follower, has his job cut out for him. Between the drunken campers and helping run his family’s lodge, Kat Rhodes throws a wrench into his life. He has a hard road ahead of him convincing Kat to be his forever and not skate outside of the law.

“Second First Kiss” is an endearing story of two lovable characters, as they navigate a road filled with fun, family and anxiety to their forever.

The past is definitely not dead and gone!!

Graphic designed Sonya MacTavish is forging a new path in her career after a broken engagement with a supportive mother and her best friend. But being the sole beneficiary of her unknown uncle’s estate sure throws her into a world of the unknown tarnished with a legacy of death and mystery.

Now it’s left to her and her new found love interest, the young lawyer Trey, Cleo and Owen, to get to the bottom of the murders that have plagued her ancestors. Sonya has to keep an open mind and follow the clues her friendly ghosts seem lay out, to a realm that may give her answers and put an end to the curse that has plagued her family for generations.

Remember, this is book one of “The Lost Bride” trilogy and we have to wait for Sonya and Owen to bring back each other to the present. Trey and Cleo will have the wait of a lifetime!

Any story by Nora Roberts is always topnotch with narration, plot and incorporating intense research. With her unlimited imagination, Nora weaves another trilogy of mystique and romance.
