Now this is a true and true fairytale of a love story. Truly “Miracle On 5th Avenue”!!!!

Sarah Morgan’s “From Manhattan With Love” series is utterly charming, whimsical and enchanting as three friends find their happily ever after.

Eva Jordan is a hopeless romantic and an extremely positive person, who always sees the good in people. A great cook and a business partner in “Urban Genie” along with her friends Paige and Frankie, she believes in romance, fairy tales and that one day her Prince Charming would come take her away in a carriage.

Enter Lucas Adams, bestselling crime writer, with a cynical attitude towards life is the complete opposite of Eva. Going through a writer’s block, and hiding away in his Manhattan penthouse, he has no idea what to do with Eva, when thrown together by his scheming grandmother.

Mr. Grouch meets Ms. Romantic, sparks fly, opinions spar, attraction flares, Eva becomes his inspiration to write, and Lucas makes a place in Eva’s heart. And what is left is for them is to figure our their differences and ride away in a carriage into the sunset.

Sarah Morgan did a stupendous job creating Eva and Lucas, polar opposites, making the story entertaining with their witty banter, the loneliness of Eva, the fears of Lucas and the depth of emotions. My favorite of the series so far.

I always enjoy reading Lori Foster! There’s something so very charming and captivating about her heroes and heroines, interesting plots and the crossover/spin off series are always my favorite.

UnderPressure-BodyArmor#1-LoriFoster

Her latest series, “Body Armor” and I’m late getting to this series, is just as absorbing and delightful as her other stories. First in the series, “Under Pressure” has ex-MMA fighter Leese Phelps fighting to save his heart. After a rough past, he has managed to get to a point of respectability and make a good life as a bodyguard with Body Armor. And it looks like nothing can protect him from the sassy and on the run Catalina Nicholson.

With secrets that threaten to kill her, Catalina runs right into Leese as he saves her from being kidnapped. Never mind that Body Armor was hired to keep her safe, but as the truth comes out, it looks like Leese is going to keep Cat under lock and key literally and with proximity those sparks of attraction seem to ignite Leese and Cat.

I’ve always loved the way Lori Foster makes sure all bases are covered in her romances, be it supporting characters, closing loops and paying attention to details. I loved how she brings in the characters from her previous series and I thoroughly enjoy reading about them. A definite good read for me.

The sister writer/author duo of Melanie and Shawna need no introduction. Pros at creating charming love stories that stoke the hearts of the readers; their latest release is no disappointment for sure.

TamingTravis-WishingWell#4-MelanieShawn-Mar2017

Wishing Well, Texas is deserving of its name, as couples seem to be finding their wishes coming true, and finding their HEAs. And Wishing Well’s wild playboy Travis Briggs is no exception. He’s more than happy to be Mia James fake boyfriend and have that become a reality forever.

Mia James seems to have finally found her calling in directing her first reality show, a far cry from her law career. But with her ex stepping in with his pregnant lady, Mia needs to find a hot guy as her fake boyfriend and Travis fits the frame to a T!

With a no strings attached relationship, both Mia and Travis are in for the ride of their lifetime. With pockets of friends and family making their presences felt, this is a wonderful story to enjoy. Seamless as ever, you can never tell where Melanie ends and Shawna begins her story. These sisters have mastered the art of co-writing to a level that is beyond description.

As always, another love story from Melanie Shawn, “Taming Travis” is a sweet ride of a love story, heartfelt, content and just pure gratification!

Have you read an author/writer who creates characters that give you feelings of mischief, spunk, sass and humor, without even reading the full story? Well Erin Nicholas does, and it’s just not her main characters, even her secondary characters have so much depth and roots in a story, it’s hard not to be involved with them when they make an appearance.

WildEnough-IrishNovella-ErinNicholas-Apr2017

Part of the Wild Irish Kindle World spearheaded by Mari Carr, “Wild Enough” is a Sapphire Falls crossover written by Erin Nicholas. Wild, Irish, and utterly charming, “Wild Enough” reunites Heather Wilson with her once upon a time college roommate and now a sexy Baltimore cop, Seth Dornan.

Between the sparks that ignite, between the wicked and wild banter, between the crème brulee and the steamy action under the sheets, Heather and Seth end up falling in love. Accepting is hard enough, but confessing to each other that they want all the strings attached is a whole other crème brulee of an issue.

Sweet, witty, tantalizing and spicy, “Wild Enough”, will drive you wild enough and thirsting for more and Erin’s mission is accomplished!!! Hoping to see more of Seth and Heather in her future stories.

You want a dark and exciting romantic suspense read, then Cynthia Eden is the go-to author. And it’s just not plain horrific evil; her villains are super smart, twisted and a pro at mind games, making her books one of the best thrillers to read.

Her latest Killer Instinct series starts off with the prequel “The Gathering Dusk” and this should be read before continuing with “After The Dark”, to follow Samantha Dark and Blake Gamble, as they take on evil in plain sight and very closely attached to Samantha Dark.

AfterTheDark-KillerInstinct#1-CynthiaEden-Mar2917

“After The Dark” starts off with Blake reuniting with Samantha who was and is once touted as one of the best profilers. Yet her FBI career goes down south when her ex-lover and best friend turns out to be the killer. A killer she may have let go. But now someone is hunting Samantha in her small quite town and Blake wants Samantha to help catch the killer and also protect her at the same time.

I love when thrillers are just not gory and violent, but have a scintillating mind game in play. Cynthia Eden is exemplary in that field and I just love her characters. She gives equal depth and layers to the good as well as the bad, to make her stories so very brilliant. And Samantha Dark and Blake Gamble make one strong couple as they battle for their lives against a psychopath who knows Samantha to the very bones of her being.

“After The Dark” should be read to enjoy the brilliance of the plot, the characters that will become one of our favorites and the narration that is tight and filled with adrenaline.
