It’s been a while since I read Alissa Callen, and have always enjoyed her books. Her Wildflower Ranch series is one of my favorites that I’ve revisited many a time.

AChristmasWish-AlissaCallen-Oct2019

“A Texas Christmas Wish” has the charm of Alissa’s writing as she brings corporate lawyer Mason Firth to Aggie Harper’s small town of warmth, tinsel and loving citizens. A search for answers from his mother’s past opens a path of love and romance for Mason, as he spends time with Aggie.

Aggie and Mason make a beautiful couple and with the support of the small town of family and friends, “A Texas Christmas Wish” is heartwarming read, perfect for the beginning of the holiday season.

“Recipe For Disaster” is the perfect blend of romance, wit, humor and charisma. As Tracy Solheim pits the gritty and delicious Secret Service Agent Griffin Kellar against the feisty and sweet Pastry Chef, Marin Chevalier working at the White House and also a very close friend to the First Family.

Even as they fight their attraction for each other, Marin is thrown into the crosshairs of a counterfeit ring and becomes a suspect, something that doesn’t agree with the Griffin. As they maneuver of the many twists of their romance, Marin and Griffin sure create enough drama to keep the White House and the readers pretty entertained!

Another entertaining romance from Tracy Solheim!

Here is another author I enjoy reading her books – Jeannie Moon. A writer/author with immense talent and creativity, penning charming romances that go straight to the hearts of the readers, her latest release, “You Send Me” is no less deserving of the readers’ praise.

Jordan Velsor is going through a really rough patch in her life with a cheating fiancée and a wedding called off, a sick father, a storm that matches her life and now sick with pneumonia, and the icing on the cake of her tough times is to be taken care of the handsome and recuperating doctor on site!

Nick Rinaldi had his eyes on his beautiful and resilient neighbor for a while and taking care of her when sick seems to be the perfect opportunity to get close. Sparks fly, attraction flares as tragedy brings them closer and love blossoms. Yet Nick has ghosts of a past military career that need to be exonerated and may very well end their future before it even begins. But then Compass Cove has a different fate destined for these two wonderfully good-hearted people.

Let’s add a dog to the equation and “You Send Me” is another touching and warm love story of second chances, care and warmth of the residents, and the romantic legend of Compass Cove.

Who can forget the wonderful Whiskey River Series by Eve Gaddy? And any continuation of the series is an added bonus, and a perfect read of another love story in the romantic town of Whiskey River.

ATexasChristmasReunion-WhiskeyRiverChristmas-EveGaddy-Nov2017

Fourteen years is a long time for two lovers to be apart, tread through different paths of life and come back full circle to where it had all began. Circumstances, blackmail and social boundaries separate teenage lovers Harlan Sullivan and Savannah Taylor. And now destiny brings them back to their hometown of Whiskey River, with Harlan buying out the construction company that Savannah happens to be the office manager.

Old feelings haven’t died, the spark of lust and attraction is very much present, and with the feeling of belonging with each other even stronger than before, and add in the magical season of Christmas, and “A Texas Christmas Reunion” is a warm and emotional read. Eve Gaddy did a wonderful job penning a beautiful story of love and support, relationships and friendships, the good and the bad of life, and add in a dash of the previous couples in attendance, and we have a story to read by the fireplace.

Another writer/author with immense talent and creativity, penning charming romances that go straight to the hearts of the readers, her latest release, “Then Came You” is no less deserving of the readers’ praise.

Moving to the tiny town of Compass Cove, Mia DeAngelis hopes to give her nephew Ben a new lease of life, nourishing his passion for sports and a life far away from the judgmental people of the big city. Working at the college library and living with her grandmother, gives Mia a sense of control and a bond with her grandmother to treasure and a sense of belonging in the tiny close-knit community.

Ben’s passion for sports brings her in close proximity to the college football coach Adam Miller. An injury forced Adam to retire from NFL, and relocate to Compass Cove, to recuperate and start fresh as a coach for the local college. Neither he nor Mia ever had love on their agenda, but Adam wants to explore the attraction that flares between them, and his love for the game and her nephew tempts him for a life that he never dreamed of having.

I loved the way Jeannie Moon developed the relationship between Adam and Mia. With so many insecurities and fears dogging their feet, they still find the courage to explore the possibility of a future, the trust that evolved between them was so well penned with various situations and so is the progression of the their love.

“Then Came You” book one in the Compass Cove series, dis an incredibly beautiful romance to read and enjoy.
