“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” ~ George Bernard Shaw ~

Planting roots and making a life for herself, is Morgan Albright’s desire. With a house to her name, two satisfying jobs, friends and family as her support, Morgan is cruising life and enjoying finding herself in the process. A chance encounter with a stranger whom she likes, a normal occurrence of a relationship that she hopes may lead to something more, actually transcends to extremely tragic circumstances. Morgan not only loses her best friend, but also her life as she is stripped off of her life, her goals and her identity.

Identity theft is such a common and devastating occurrence in our current world, and reinventing yourself is no mean task. With the help of her mother and her grandmother, Morgan realizes what happened to her is not what she is, but what she chooses to become now, will be her identity. Creating a new life, takes immense courage and strength and Morgan has that in spades.

“Identity” is a psychological thriller, following Morgan’s struggle to create a new life, staying one step ahead of a pathological killer, having faith to trust and embrace love. Roping in Miles Jameson to support Morgan with her struggle, sparking honesty and love, binding her with relationships, giving her the confidence to believe in planting roots again, is testament of the fact that there are good and kind people in this world.

Any story by Nora Roberts is always topnotch with narration, plot and incorporating intense research. Peppered with witty dialogues, springing a love story amidst danger, developing relationships and giving characters a chance to create themselves, “Identity” is an extraordinary story

Can’t miss a Susan Stoker book at all!

Her new series Game Of Chance starts off with the “The Protector” with Riggs Chapman, the ever protector no matter what the circumstances are. In comes a damsel in distress, Carlise Edwards, her guardian stray dog leading the protector her way.

Two strangers under one roof, empathy and care take a root, emotions and attraction spark a fire, and danger and love cement their feelings for each other.

Four friends, survivors of enemy captivity, an unbreakable bond of trust and heart, a dream that seeded as POW, to own a business in a quiet little town and help the innocent as they run Jack’s Lumber, a premise for Susan Stoker’s new series.

As always, Susan does not disappoint, and leaves a satisfied reader!

There’s nothing more fascinating than getting to know another Dark Protector in the outer realm, and if it is one by Rebecca Zanetti, it’s worth the read.

In total honesty, it has been a while I visited them. It was a great going down memory lane as I met Talen, Zane, Dage, Conn, just to mention a few, as Rebecca Zanetti takes us on an engrossing ride with Vampire-Demon Garrett Kayrs and his Destiny.

Garrett’s Destiny truly is a captivating story of relationships, friendships and the need to create a peaceful world for future generation as Garrett and Destiny try to fight for their own future. With an interesting background for Destiny Applegate, and her appearance in Garrett’s life, and the twisted turn of events that bind Garrett and Destiny, is a great read for any book lover

“If a man could die from regret, then he was living his last moments” ~~Nicholas “Hawke” Hawthorne, Heartless ~~

There is a reason why I love Christy Reece, writer and creator of romantic suspense…author extraordinaire who takes her time to dwell into her characters to appreciate and acknowledge the depth of their personalities, who gets into the mind of evil to understand and recognize the extent of corruptness, and creating motives and situations, thus weaving an engrossing story of good and evil, right and wrong, actions and consequences.

Readers of her Option Zero series have met all her characters in play and each of her characters have an intense and underlying depth to their personalities. Characters who have been to the bowels of the underbelly, witness of sociopaths and power mongrels, politics and destruction. And everyone one of them have their own demons to demolish. Characters that I enjoyed revisiting in Option Zero.

In the midst of deep cover ops and mayhem, Olivia Gates and Nicholas Hawthorne formed an electrifying bond of love and marriage. Where there is good, evil is always lurking in the shadows to strike and create havoc, separating Olivia and Nicholas. And the same twisted evil plays a hand in bringing these lovers face to face, little realizing the full impact of “Zero Options” to survive their eventual solidarity. Evil would see the end of the day! For Olivia and Nicholas, who have given each other so much to remember, it is hard to forget the separation and pain, betrayal and deception, and it’s a long road to trust and forgiveness. Christy Reece gives this very facet of their character, a special attention in the final chapters of their story.

Talking about a Christy Reece book would be like revealing the spoilers of the story. Every word, every line, every situation is such an integral fragment of the plot, that it would be an injustice to her narration, for me to pinpoint anything in particular. Writing about Olivia and Nicholas will be an act of transgression on my end as I can never, ever describe them in a few words. And finally reviewing her work, would be “Heartless”,  of me, as every emotion, every dialogue and every single thought of Olivia and Nicholas has to be imagined in the eye of the mind as their story is been read.

And now a satisfied reader will let Christy Reece go back to her work, and shall wait in anticipation, as Iris Gates went back to work as well!
