…….and Jennifer Probst has the answer! 😉

I’ve lost count of the number of books I read or the authors who I come across or are recommendations.  Some grow on me and some just find their way into my heart right from the start and their prints find their place on my bookshelves.

I’ve had Jennifer on my radar for a while and finally ended up reading her books on my trip to India. Lucky me – I found all the four “Marriage To A Billionaire Series” books in the Singapore airport, and they found themselves in my backpack in a jiffy!!!!Image

I was on a reading fest!  It’s very hard to find writers who can create living people in their books. Not characters, but people. I was totally in love with all of them in Jennifer’s books. There was so much love and passion, support and loyalty, independence and dependence, all unconditional and with no questions asked. The emotions were fierce, the hurt was palpable, the relationships rock solid and the union of mind, body and soul is out of this world!!!

You can’t help but fall in love with Alexa and Nicholas, Michael and Maggie (my personal favorites), Carina and Max and Julietta and Sawyer. Every one of them was breathing and living person, their stories coming to life with humor, wit and intimacy.

ImageHot alpha males and beautiful feisty females and one Book Of Spells you can’t resist!

And don’t forget to read her new “Search” series of three friends and their agency “Kinnections”  –  ‘Searching For Somebody’ ( you’ll love Kate and Slade), and ‘Searching For Perfect’ (April 29, 2014)…….you will not be disappointed with her books 🙂

She is one author whose books are endless pleasure of reading!

Today is the birthday of one of my top favorite writers – Bella Andre 🙂

BONES SPEAKETH THE TRUTH

Kendra Elliot writes some mean thrillers and suspense!!!! I came across her quite by accident (am very accident prone leading to new authors ;)) and I am hooked line, sinker and anchor!

Her “Bone Series” is a “Chilling” ride of “Buried” secrets, “Hidden” twists and being “Alone” with cold blooded murderers with a mother of all twisted minds. Her villains make you wonder in sheer amazement of how perverted, warped or disturbed they can be. As much as we shake our heads in disbelief, the world sure has its share of sick people like her villains. Image

My personal favorite was “Buried”. Loved the way Michael and Jamie connected and worked together. And the main twist in the story was so well written and revealed – I just loved it! Although my gut hinted at the possibility, the certainty of the truth was still a total surprise that ends up giving you goosebumps.

If “Buried” was my favorite book, Dr. Victoria Peres and Seth Rutledge in “Alone”, were my favorite characters. Victoria got my attention from her first appearance in “Hidden”. She’s strong, courageous and utterly feminine, that had Seth Rutledge staying close to her. I liked their history as much as the maturity with which they handled their past and settled into the present.

ImageKendra’s books can be read stand alone, but you will not be able to resist going back to reading the complete series. Set against the backdrop of Oregon, get to know Lacy and Jack Harper and Brynn and Alex in the midst of spine tingling chills, fiery passion and dark nights.

And can’t wait to “Vanish” into another world of romantic suspense with her next book.

J.L Berg is one fabulous lady with her charm and wit, always fun to chat with and just a riot!!! Want to get to know her a little bit more? Well…read onImage

A full time Mom of two adorable kids, how do you manage being a mom, wife, writer and of course a fun person on social forums:

Jennifer: I don’t sleep!  No, I’m kidding.  Kind of ……

It’s definitely a lot and there are times when I feel like I am failing in one or more of my duties.  Sometimes I have to shut down and pay attention to my kids and leave writing alone for a while.  There are also times when Mommy has a deadline and they have to watch a movie by themselves.  It’s a balancing act, but I’m lucky enough to have a very patient and supportive husband, who help me stay sane.  Mostly…

When readers read your books, what do you want them to feel?

Jennifer: I want my readers to feel everything!  I am known for making readers cry, but I also have quite a number of funny and sexy moments in my novels that balance out the heavy.  I like knowing my readers finish one of my novels feeling an array of emotions, rather than just one or two.  That is life—we feel everything.

How do you balance the relation of editor, publisher and writer?

Jennifer: I am self-published (except for my audio) so I am my own boss!  But I do work with two editors.  Yes, two! I am anal when it comes to editing so I have two, to make sure that everything is perfect by the time a book is released.  Both are women I love and trust them with my work.

ImageWho do you brainstorm the scenes with in your books:

Jennifer: I come up with scenes for books randomly.  There’s no rhyme or rhythm to the way my brain works.  Sometimes I’ll come up with an epic scene as I’m floating off to sleep.  Other times, something will come to me when I am grocery shopping or taking a shower.  A writer’s mind is weird.  I think we only live in the real world half the time.

What was the most difficult part of writing ‘Never Been Ready’:

Jennifer: I hated writing Leah’s father.  He was a necessary character to her development and to the book, but I seriously hated him.  I don’t think I’ve ever disliked one of my characters – it was a definite first for me.

Now here’s my “Curious George” question –

How much of the erotic scenes are inspired by personal experience (tongue in cheek) 😉 😉 😉 –

Jennifer: Hahahahaha, you could publish this.  I’m not shy.

Jennifer: I’d say about half.  But the other half, my husband likes to re-enact, just to make sure they are authentic.  J

She is such a sweetheart!
