New series…new billionaires…. and the matchmaking continues….

Kian-UndercoverBillionaires#1-MelodyAnne-Feb2018

Melody Anne’s “Undercover Billionaires” kicks off with “Kian”, the hardworking and successful trauma surgeon. All the money and his love was not able to make Roxie Gilbert his wife, but a tragedy brings her back into his life, along with a baby that he had fathered.

I have always liked Melody Anne and adore her series, but “Kian” just did not do it for me. Well it’s not Kian per say….I had a real problem with Roxie and her issues, her characterization and her problems…were just not clear, plausible or earth shattering to run off! J

But then give it a read, definitely for Kian!

If you haven’t read Sandra Owens, you are definitely missing out on reading a fabulous writer of some great romantic suspense books under her creative belt!

Aces And Eights is a great series featuring the Gentry brothers, their survival from an abusive father, he secrets of surrounding their mother’s disappearance and the lives they have made with their loved ones.

AceOfSpades-Aces&Eights#3-SandraOwens-Feb2018

Book three of the series, “Aces Of Spades” is the story of FBI agent Nate Gentry and his partner Taylor Collins, as they try to keep their professional boundaries without crossing into their personal space to test the chemistry that seems to burn between them. But then a serial killer has a different story to write that dredges up a painful past for Taylor. As they try to catch the killer, the adrenaline and the passion between them erupts with no control, and now they have to deal the final play in the deck of cards to outsmart a killer and have a future.

My chance reading of Sandra Owens’ books have been another reading pleasure of romance and suspense, great chemistry between the protagonists, brilliant characterization of her leads and supporting team, “Ace Of Spades” is an intriguing and captivating read.

There’s something very addictive and seductive about Susan Stoker’s various series of courageous and brave soldiers, their fight for justice and the fierce protectiveness of their loved ones.

ClaimingFelicity-AceSecurity#4-SusanStoker-Feb2018

“Claiming Felicity” book four in the Ace Security Series is another exemplary work of Susan Stoker’s creative writing as she brings the surprising secretive half brother to the Andersons brothers, a twist to their family dynamics.

Ryan Sinclair comes to Castle Rock, CO, after the discovery of the half-brothers he never knew about. Wanting to know his newfound family, and leaving his mercenary life behind, Ryder is more than ready to plant roots and with Felicity Jones.

Feeling from a dangerous past, Castle Rock was supposed to be a temporary stop for Felicity Jones. But the Anderson family has tied her strong to family and friendship, and leaving was becoming a far fetched idea until the past catches up with her and lands her family and friends in danger.

But Ryder and the Anderson brothers will protect their own and will do anything to keep Felicity safe. With Ryder as her self appointed bodyguard and with sparks of attraction fanning between them, and passion igniting the sheets, Ryder will do anything to protect and keep Felicity in Castle Rock for a future with her.

“Claiming Felicity” is another courageous story of a woman trying to defeat her past for a future with the man she loves. A wonderful story of family and friendship, support and care, brotherhood and kinship, Susan Stoker gives her readers another captivating thriller.

Susan Stoker is one fine writer that I was glad to have come upon and enjoyed reading her stories. From her Badge Of Honor Series, Delta Force Heroes Series to Seal Of Protection Series and now to Ace Security series, I’ve literally enjoyed every single one of her books. Protecting Caroline, Protecting Fiona and Protecting Alabama are my top favorites of her books that I’ve visited innumerable times…chicken soup for the soul!!!

Kendra Eliot’s new “Mercy Kilpatrick” series continues with the latest release, “A Merciful Secret”, as Police Chief Truman Daly and Mercy Kilpatrick cruise into a relationship, taking care of her niece and slowly easing into mending fences with her family.

AMercifulSecret-MercySeries#3-KendraElliot

But then there’s never a day off for the law enforcement, as Mercy becomes a key witness in the murder of a little girl’s grandmother. With a similar related murder of a renowned judge, Mercy gets drawn into age-old secrets of the past of her hometown, and the consequences that follow the next generation.

“A Merciful Secret” is an intriguing and emotional story of a mother and daughter surviving a past that wants to kill them, a story riddled with secrets that tears a family apart, and a story that devastates Mercy’s very life and soul.

Keeping the dynamics of the Kilpatrick family in light, Kendra Elliot weaves another intense story of secrets and betrayal, pain and loss, death and devastation, even as she strengthens the relationship between Truman and Kilpatrick. I’ve always loved her prowess of developing a personal relationship, layer-by-layer, book-by-book

The Westerlys sure are heating up the pages with their love and romance as they try to find their place as well as their future partners. I’ve always loved reading series featuring siblings, matchmaking elders, and families going through rough times despite being billionaires just showing that they are human as well.

UpForHeir-WesterlyBillionaires#2-RuthCardello-Nov2017

The new series by Ruth Cardello, “The Westerly Billionaires” is exactly that and book two of the Westerly Heirs, “Up For Heir”, is just as enticing and charming. Self made billionaire and with lots of family secrets, Spencer Westerly is caught up in his work more, than playing to the fall-outs within his family. But then his grandmother is not one to give up, and with some help and manipulation comes Hailey Tiverton, the one and only woman Spencer had ever loved.

Life threw a curve ball in the young teenagers lives, breaking up Spencer and Hailey. Now Hailey is the guardian of her niece and circumstances bring her as the companion for Spencer’s grandmother. And the stage is well set for both these estranged lovebirds to put to rest the past and create a future.

Along with the siblings finding the love of their lives Ruth Cardello pays special attention to the chemistry among the family members as they try to mend broken relations, pain and betrayal. “Up For Heir” is another great read as the Westerly Billionaires steal our hearts.
