It’s wonderful to re-visit the little town of Solitude, and visit with Seth Harding and his wife Carly, but then death and evil never rest and so neither does Seth and his team and Carly.

TwistedTruth-RogueJusticeNovella#1-MelindaLeigh-Nov2017

Responding to a double homicide and finding a child chained in the basement is not something Seth was looking forward to. More than ever, bringing Carly in to help with the child is just as painful, with Carly recovering from a trauma. But justice never rests, and where a child is involved, Carly will move heaven and earth to protect the child and get to the bottom of the deaths of two who are not even the child’s parents. As the case becomes complex, so does the danger surrounding their family and team. With death shooting bullets at them, Seth and Carly have to work together to outwit death and save their family.

Another adrenaline pumping short novella, entwining an intriguing plots along with Seth and Carly’s new life, their daughter, mother and their farm. It’s nice to see the after of Seth’s and Carly’s fragile relationship and the inroads they have made after reconciling, and reading about the supporting casts, always makes it extra special.

“Twisted Truth” is book one of the Rogue Justice Novellas, and co-written by Melinda Leigh (Book #1) and Book #2 will follow written by Kendra Elliot. Brilliant at what she does best, writing romantic suspense keeping her readers enthralled, Melinda Leigh pens another thrilling story around Seth and Carly.

The saga continues with Silver Springs and the men of New Horizons Boys Ranch, as love seems to spring in the air giving each of these good men a well-deserved partner and a future.

RightWhereWeBelong-SilverSprings#4-Oct2017

With her entire life torn apart by her murderous husband, Savannah Gray returns to her hometown of Silver Springs to start fresh and keep her kids away from the shadows of an evil father, renovating her childhood house and making a home, right where she belongs.

Abandoned as a child and with New Horizons giving him a new lease of life, Gavin Turner knows very well the trauma of starting over and finding oneself, to give an identity to self and set some roots with family, and Savannah and her kids kindle in him feelings of desire, family and a future.

Another well crafted story of pain and betrayal, abandonment and loss, love and support, family and friends. Savannah’s character will bring tears to your eyes, and Gavin’s kindness and big heart gives hope that there’s enough good to out weigh the bad. “Right Where We Belong” is a skillful narration of a beautiful story of second chances, happiness, faith and hope.

Second book in the “Lazarus Rising” Series is just as fast paced and adrenaline ride as Subject Two aka Flynn Haddox and Dr. Cecelia Gregory are dodging the bullets to stay one step ahead of the people hunting the super soldiers.

KeepMeClose-LazariusRising#2-CynthiaEden-Oct2017

With his entire past burned down to ashes, Flynn literally is the dead man resurrected, gunning to end the threat hunting Cecelia and the super soldiers created through the Lazarus project. Having defied death once, Cecelia wants nothing more than to put the entire disaster behind her and take a chance at a future with Flynn.

With his best friend Sawyer Cage and the creator of the Lazarus Project, Elizabeth and with some very rich and resourceful friends in tow, Flynn and Cecelia have to fight their way through mind games, and the evil manipulations of an enhanced solder “Subject Five” who was a serial killer in his past life!

Impressive as always, Cynthia Eden’s plot of super enhanced soldiers, the scope of technology that can be created and used is pure genius and mind-blowing. “Keep Me Close” is another brilliant story as Cynthia Eden continues the series with Flynn and Cecelia, their fight for survival, and the fight to save the surviving soldiers, and to get to the bottom of the iceberg, and destroy it once and for all.

New series to captivate…new book boyfriends to drool over…new romances to warm our hearts. Haven, Montana is the new setting for Jill Sanders new series and as she brings Tyler McGowan and Kristen Howell “Closer To You”.

CloserToYou-HavenMontana#1-JillSanders-Oct2017

Tyler McGowan is thrown into running the family’s oil business after his father’s death, a job he takes seriously and to heart, working hard to make sure the legacy becomes strong and rich. And definitely has no plans of selling it to anyone no matter how enticing and beautiful on two legs may be.

Convincing Tyler to sell his business is the means to her goal of getting to the top of the corporate ladder. But Kristen Howell never dreamed that the resistance can be stubborn and damn sexy with alpha tendencies, and she never thought her heart would get entangled in the take over.

As attraction flares, so do the evil forces around Tyler and Kristen, as they seem to be headed into trouble waters. But the tenacious Kristen and a determined Tyler will have to join heart, body and soul to protect what they care for. A very interesting and captivating story of love and intrigue, betrayal and lies, “Closer To You” is a great start to Jill Sanders’ new series.

And as always, Jill Sanders delivers a story worth reading. The chemistry between Tyler and Kristen is fiery, the equation between the brothers and mother is a treat to read and the suspense and intrigue is strong enough to keep the readers captivated.

Erin Nicholas’s “Opposites Attract” series is an extraordinary blend of some remarkable characters, polar opposites, yet the power of attraction, lust and love, draws them to each other, extremely impressive storylines, and with a surprising twist of sourness, the latest “Totally His” is simply an orgasmic read!

TotallyHis-OppositesAttract#3

Beautiful actress in pink lingerie Sophie Birch meets the savior and protector Finn Kelly, bearer of handcuffs and dreams sexy and dirty, when her theatre catches fire; a fire that sparks a fiery spark of lust and attraction, dating and mating, and relationships and forever-after.

The highlight of this story is Sophie’s estranged relationship with her unreliable and unworthy father. A father that she really loves yet disappoints her entire life. A father who is selfish and would do anything for his own good, yet Sophie cannot make her heart let go of this complication. The dynamics of this relationship was very well portrayed and with Finn getting involved to smooth things was one of the best scenes of this love story.

How can you not fall in love with Finn, a guy who goes to great lengths to get to know Sophie intimately, understanding her fears and insecurities, benevolent of the relationship between his mother and Sophie, Finn would do anything to make Sophie “Totally His”.

And to be honest, reviews do not do justice to this stunning story as Sophie and Finn navigate the complexities of a relationship, with a large extended family and their interferences. Erin Nicholas created an amazing screenplay with Finn Kelly and Sophie Birch, well staged and choreographed.
