I’m a big fan of Griffin’s Tracers Series and Glass Sister Series are some of the most brilliant and fascinating books I’ve read in my time and have re-visited very often. Her narration is gripping, her characters are perfectly etched and the suspense and thrill keeps the readers glued to the very last page.

Laura Griffin’s new Alpha Crew series starts off with a bang and a crash, leaving the readers “At The Edge” of a precipice as Emma Wright and Ralph Owen try to survive the dangers of the Philippines jungle as well as the guns that seem to chase them.

AtTheEdge-AlphaCrew#1-Part1-LauraGriffin-Mar2016

When Emma survives her plane crash and is rescued by the secret and special elite Alpha Crew, little does she knows what life has in store for her. Rescued by Ralph and his teammates, Emma ends up in the path of danger as she tries to uncover the conspiracy behind the crash of her government plane. The more she questions, more closer she gets to danger and Ralph has no choice but protect Emma for the sake of his own survival and heart.

Part one of the first book brings Ralph and Emma closer to each other, as well as close to death. As the attraction between them heats up, so does the many unanswered questions and the possibility of mole in the FBI. As Emma and Ralph succumb to the passion of their feelings, Emma gets kidnapped leaving us readers wondering if Ralph would make it in time to save her.

And that would continue in Part 2, “Edge Of Surrender”

It’s the season of snow and hot chocolate, hope and forgiveness, family and friends, love and miracles. It’s the season of magic. As the holiday season comes around, so do the Christmas romances written by some my favorite authors and leading this season for me is Samantha Chase’s “Christmas in Silver Bell Falls”.

A heroine averse to Christmas and all that it represents and a hero who thrives in the festivities of the season and his belief in the kindness and humanity. Two wonderful people, poles apart in beliefs, but brought together by circumstances and some careful planning.

ChristmasInSilverBellFalls-XMasNovella-SamanthaChase

Author/Writer Melanie Harper has so many bad memories tied with Christmas during her childhood years, that even as an adult she just can’t seem to let go of pain and forgive her past. But then an inheritance from an unlikely source takes her to the magical town of Silver Bell Falls, and to Josiah Stone.

The upright and sexy Sheriff of Silver Bell Falls, Josiah Stone falls hard for the new visitor in his town. He makes it his mission to show the wonders of Christmas and the kindness of people. He brings her into contact with the beautiful people of Silver Bell Falls, their care and kindness, their friendship and support, and in the process trust and love.

A wonderful read perfect for the holiday season. A simple love story as two people learn to give each other the trust and the foundation of a future. A simple narrative of a story, Josiah and Melanie take a place in my heart as they overcome pain and insecurities. Samantha Chase creates some wonderful supporting secondary characters and she does what she’s good at – weaving a winter wonderland of romance.

Meet the “Montana Rogue” Tucker Montgomery. Sexy and charming, kind and protective, his dance moves makes your heart go wild, and all he wants is to zip into Amanda Heller’s life and make her, his own.

MontanaRogue-BigSkyMavericks7-DebraSalonen-Sept2015

Coming to Marietta to help renovate her grandmother’s home, Amanda Heller ends up been housemates with Tucker. From a New York to Marietta sure is two ends of the spectrum, but Tucker makes it one heck of a temptation to go wild.

With childhood insecurities plaguing them, Tucker and Amanda take a risk with their hearts to give us a good romance. Witty banter and a simple narration makes “Montana Rogue” a fun filled read, and the good characterization of Amanda and Tucker gives our heart the satisfaction of reading a sweet love story.

Debra Salonen weaves another Big Sky Maverick story under the beautiful skies of Montana, and around the characters that have charmed us with their very own love stories. And the cover is one of the most endearing ones I’ve seen!

Ryker – Fire And Ice

Ryker Evans has a lot riding for him as the top-notch goalie of the Carolina Cold Fury hockey team. He’s hot on ice, his numbers are off the chart and his passion for the new General Manager of the team seems to fire the ice in the rink. Despite of a marriage gone down the drain, Ryker is in a happy place with the custody of his adorable daughters and at the pinnacle of his career. He is just one of those guys with a glass half full, enjoying the small pleasures in life and grateful for little things thrown his way.

Ryker-ColdfuryHockey-SawyerBennet-Sept2015

As the first woman General Manager of a national league hockey team, Gray Brannon has her job cut out for her, to prove her worth and her management skills in keeping the team together to win the Stanley Cup. She’s no wall flower with her immense experience as an Olympic hockey gold medalist and her educational qualifications and numbers strategy seem to keep the men at bay. Sawyer Bennett did a stupendous job of giving Gray just the right doses of being a woman in a testosterone rink, yet enough courage and confidence to believe in her ability to succeed in a man’s world.

Two wonderfully beautiful people, skilled in their professions, confident in their love and trusting each other with their hearts, Ryker and Gray have a sizzling relationship that fires the heart and the ice. A fabulous continuation of the Cold Fury Series, Sawyer Bennett sure puts her heart and soul into the key players of this series. I love her attention to details, her insight into the tiny nuances of relationships, the importance of family, support and friendship.

Another captivating stand alone read, as Ryker and Gray battle the boundaries of a relationship between an employee and employer, and the sacrifices they are willing to make for each other, with respect and love, no questions asked!

Readers familiar with the Sloan Brothers of Melanie Shawn and the Sullivans of Bella Andre would enjoy the Kelly Brothers with equal fervor. Crista McHugh’s Kelly Brothers are an amazing bunch of talented and super loving hunks, raised by a super awesome mother and the family dog Jasper. I’ve read and re-read all of them a few times over and enjoy them more each time.

Kelly brother number 7, Gideon has all the charm and sexiness of a movie star and he is at the pinnacle of his career. Yet rooted to the ground by his family values and love for the humanity, he’s hard to resist and a temptation that every woman wants a bite of. But “The Kid” has only eyes for Sarah Holtz and his heart belongs to her now and forever.

HereAllAlong-KellyBrothers7-CristaMcHugh-Aug2015

But convincing Sarah is a gigantic job that requires a screenplay skillfully written and choreographed with loyal characters and family support. Sarah has seen the pinnacle of stardom and the rock bottom depths of depression and drugs. For her Gideon is her savior and life support, but she wants to stand on her own strength before she can stand on equal footing with Gideon.

I love Crista and her penchant for weaving stories that leave her readers with laughs and love, tears and heartbreaks, meddling friends and staunch supporters. “Here All Along” had me in splits as Gideon along with his co-star Gabe try to rope in Sarah, the interaction between these two is plain hilarious. Gideon as the superstar yet the vulnerable man in love have us rooting for him all the way.

And Sarah as the girl who has lost everything, yet as the woman who may have a chance at everything is just a classic beauty of courage and determination. I just loved her and she was “Here All Along”, right next to her future and took her a while to accept the love and trust she was lucky to have found.

What can I say about Crista McHugh – she’s been and will be one of my all time favorite writers. She writes such genuine love stories that are so relatable to our daily lives and makes reading them such a pleasure. Simple, classy and charming creations are her fictions.
