Diving with “Wilde Abandon” into Jennifer Ryan’s next Wilde sibling’s love story, it is a read of pure and timeless love between Melody Wilde and Fox Bridges. A friendship that started in second grade, with fierce protectiveness and loyalty between them, Melody and Fox were inseparable as they grew into teens. The spark of innocent love remained smoldering only to ignite into flames when Fox Bridges returns to Blackrock Falls. Sixteen years of separation melt away as Melody and Fox rekindle their relationship that never ended and love for each other that never faded away.

Fox and Melody, as they work to resolve things that led to their separation and navigate their new found love, they also have to put to rest the demons of Fox’s childhood and the shadows of evil that are hell bent on separating them. A review does not do justice to “Wilde Abandon”. It should be read to feel the chemistry between Fox and Melody, enjoy the banter between them and their family, laugh at the witty dialogues and thoughts that give life to the story, and experience the foundation and support of the Wilde family.

I love how Jennifer Ryan created these Wilde siblings. Pure souls filled only with kindness and empathy, personalities with grit and hard work, characters with ethics of right and wrong, and a community that rallies around their own, Wilde siblings find their happily ever afters. 

A story I enjoyed with wild abandon!!

Purchased a paperback copy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The Hero – With Inner Demons

The “Game of Chance” warriors, survivors of enemy captivity, are slowly finding their normal in the civilian life, vanquishing one demon at a time, building relationships and finding love along the way. 

Kendrick Evans, aka Bob to his mates, still strives to face danger, gets his adrenaline rush by going on rescue missions without his team watching his six. One such mission is to rescue archeologist, Marlowe Kennedy imprisoned in Thailand on false charges of drug trafficking. 

A simple archeological dig turns into a nightmare for Marlow Kennedy, when she’s betrayed by an associate and imprisoned between the walls of a Thailand prison. With her brother pulling strings to get her released, her only hope now is “The Hero”, aka Bob, who is tasked with rescuing her. 

The rescue mission to break Marlowe out of prison may be a success, but the road home is filled with frightening bumps and painful suffering. Hoping to make the escape easy, Marlowe and Kendric end up as husband and wife and as things come to a head, his teammates come through with a royal intervention, making their entry into homeland less of an ordeal. 

Two courageous souls, bound by circumstances, and fated to be together, have one final demon to vanquish to cement their future. 

Susan Stoker brings another heartwarming and courageous story of two wonderful people meant to be together.

Second First Kiss – Between A Revamp And Federal Law

Marina Adair’s second book in the Sierra Vista series, “Second First Kiss” is an entertaining read. But do not miss the undercurrents of emotion, the desire to have a companion, and the intense need to have a family and keep it all together. 

Kat Rhodes is a character you’ll fall in love with her sassy attitude that shelters so much longing, hurt and fear. A sister to take care of, and a father MIA, she has a lot at stake. Throw in a federal agent who loves her, only wants to become her support and make her his, forever is enough for Kat to keep her distance.

Nolan Carmichael, the federal agent and a rule follower, has his job cut out for him. Between the drunken campers and helping run his family’s lodge, Kat Rhodes throws a wrench into his life. He has a hard road ahead of him convincing Kat to be his forever and not skate outside of the law. 

“Second First Kiss” is an endearing story of two lovable characters, as they navigate a road filled with fun, family and anxiety to their forever.

A new series, new characters, with a glimpse fo the olden and golden characters making a welcome appearance. 

Katie Reus’s new series, Redemption Harbor Security” spears ahead with Jessie Lenox “Fighting For Haley”, to keep her in his life. A self made millionaire rising from the ashes of foster care, Jessie always had a soft spot for Haley that grew into love. But circumstances and life has a way of coming in between two lovers, driving them apart. Years later, fate gives Haley and Jessie another chance at love as all the foster siblings come together to save one of their very own. 

I like these new characters in her new series. Loyal, faithful and devoted to each other, I’d love to see the rest of the siblings finding their true love.
