Chasing Vengeance – The Final Chapter

Katie Reus gives a fitting finale to her Redemption Harbor series, with “Chasing Vengeance”. It only makes sense to give Layla her own happily ever after, after her torturous past with her murderous ex-fiance and being saved by her best friend and her team of specialists.

Starting over in Redemption Harbor among her new friends, also brings Layla to Xavier. Ace hitman and with an enemy wanting revenge for his past actions, bedding with Xavier only brings Layla into the crosshairs of danger. But then love doesn’t lister to the mind, and fate has it’s own agenda and with the entire team at their back, it is only a matter of time to eliminate the danger to their future. Xavier and Layla make an excellent pair with their chemistry and characterization.

I’ll miss this series from Katie Reus. From the romance seekers to the thrill seekers, this series was captivating and fulfilling. Branded and sealed by Katie Reus!!!

Covert Games -Hide And Seek In Plain Sight

If anyone’s not read Katie Reus’s Redemption Harbor Series, you are missing out on a series filled with passion and danger. From the romance seekers to the thrill seekers, this series is captivating and fulfilling!

Book six of the series brings co-founder Leighton and Lucy Carreras in a mission very personal, playing “Covert Games”, as they try to bring down Lucy’s evil uncle, who has some very shading dealings and hurting the innocent as well. Lucy’s loyalties are put to the test, and Leighton’s heart is in the crossfire of this battle.

“Resurrection” was an astounding start to the series, and as much as I enjoyed the other books in the series, “Covert Games” is my second favorite of the series. The chemistry between Leighton and Lucy is electrifying and the rest of the team being involved in lot more of the pages added spice and intensity to the story.

Katie Reus as always captivates with her plot and narration. I love her attention to sketching characters true to reality and making them perfectly imperfect.

Trying to reconcile to the death of his lover was and is a nightmare for Cole Stuart. But now facing the breathing and living Skye brings out all the anger, questions and lust that never died away. As he faces the truth that Skye is alive and there’s a traitor in their midst, Colt will do everything in his power to protect his loved ones.

The opening pages of “Resurrection” is a powerful narration of brothers in arms and their unconditional support for each other, hurting and loving for others, and the entrance of the courageous Skye Arevalo forever will be one of my top, multiple re-reads scenes, and I’ve already revisited those pages a few times now!

Katie Reus started the series with a blast! As she brings Colt and Skye together for a second chance, she also introduces the other characters coming into play in her later books. Definitely looking forward to more of Redemption Harbor!
