Hello Fellow Book Addicts!!!!
Check out this new book from a young and budding young writer……. free for just a couple more days…….
Just thinking of Erin Nicholas brings out a chuckle in me…. always. Her books are just delicious, delectable and edible (it that is possible!!!). All her stories have unbreakable friendship, unconditional support, witty banter that rolls off the dialogues and intense love and passion that literally jumps off the pages.
The final book in the series “Counting On Love” is a an absolutely perfect ending as Connor Dixon is upped by Gabrielle Evans in more ways than five. Connor the ultimate charmer and lover, protective brother and a supportive friend finally gets knocked sideways once he realizes Gabby, his teammate, his friend, his comrade is actually a woman with all the assets!!!
Gabby’s been in love with Connor for a long time, but the boundaries of working together have always stopped her from acting on her desire. But now when her apartment burns down, she ends up sharing Connor’s home and the game of lust begins and ends with Connor losing his heart and soul to Gabby.
Gabby and Connor are just one of the most amazing couples of Erin’s creation. Full of warmth and care, both coming from larger families, always putting others ahead of their needs, these two are just made for each other. Independent Gabby realizes that she needs Connor dote on her to death and Connor finally lets his heart do the talking as he finally accepts that fact that he doesn’t have to fix everything.
The secondary characters are just as wonderful to re-visit, the dialogue between them is just as masterful and witty, the strength of friendship and family values can easily be felt through every relationship. All in all “Up By Five” is an enticing and magnetic story and I didn’t expect any less from Erin Nicholas.

Jill Shalvis is “Still The One”!!!!
As much as I enjoyed her Lucky Harbor Series (so sad to see that series end), her Animal Magnetism Series is no less captivating, entreating and utterly passionate as the two-legged variety steal hearts along with the four-legged ones.
Almost losing her life in an accident, Darcy Stone is able to stand on her two feet through sheer grit, courage and immense support from her family and friends. And all through her recovery and intense therapy AJ Colten has been one of her steady constants as her physical therapist and a person of interest of her heart. She may have convinced her mind to keep her feelings under wraps, but her heart is all together another matter and working with AJ daily doesn’t make it any easy.
For AJ, Darcy is the woman. Intense feelings and love may have crowded his heart, but the past pain of breaking off a long-term relationship with his war partner has him staying away from acting on his feelings for Darcy. Losing Darcy is not an option, yet the fear of insecurities of physical scars and emotional weakness keeps him a few feet away from Darcy.
And fate throws them together on a trip that is important to AJ as he needs to secure grants to help his patients and Darcy is the living and breathing evidence of his hard work and the difference he can make in a patient’s life. Circumstances reel them in as a couple and the lingering embers of attraction burst into flames of passion and desire that consumes them both.
Darcy is one of the bravest and sassy heroines of Jill’s series. Warm and open hearted, kind and helpful she would do anything to keep her pet project of helping S&R dogs find new homes. Former war veteran and widely popular AJ is just as lovable as all her other heroes. And together they are magnetic, charming and utterly delicious.
With emotions riding high, love and desire overtaking insecurities and pain, with loads of support, wit and family meddling thrown into the pot, “Still The One” is another highly entertaining, delicious and mouthwatering offering from Jill Shalvis.

For anyone familiar with Samantha Chase would know that her Montgomery Brothers Series is one of the most popular and romantic series. From matchmaking fathers to uncles, from arrogant and sexy heroes to sassy and courageous heroines, this series is a pleasure to read.
And if the story is centered around the only female of the Montgomery Clan, nothing short of fireworks are expected. The youngest of the family, Summer Montgomery has always been protected, coddled and never given a chance to prove her worth. Flitting from one interest to another, trying to find her place amidst the vast successful Montgomery business or outside of her family cage, the super smart and intelligent Summer Montgomery ends up putting to rest her lustful feelings towards Ethan Reed. One touch, one kiss and one magical night change everything.
Best friend to Zack Montgomery and co-adrenaline junkie partner, Ethan Reed has been in love with Summer forever and when circumstances bring them together in Alaska, they succumb to the desires that their hearts and souls have been craving. Her restless soul may have found her perfect mate, but now coming out in the open about their relationship is altogether another ball game of monumental proportions.
I believe that Summer Montgomery is Samantha Chase’s perfect creation (after Jordon). Down to earth and big hearted and always trying to please her family, she is the modern woman with so many insecurities. The thirst for approval and acceptance sends her on a path of self-realization. Her sassiness and love for her family takes her on a roller coaster ride of emotions and Ethan’s love grounds her and her heart to be hopeful.
Ethan is the perfect complement to Summer as he brings out her strengths giving her courage and self-assurance, not that she’s lacking in it. But having a staunch supporter always helps the case. Patient, passionate and reasonable, Ethan gives Summer the confidence to make decisions that changes the equation with her family.
I loved the subtle change in Samantha’s narration as she gives a bit more page space to secondary characters. She seems to have done a superb job incorporating a storyline that takes the readers into the next Montgomery book, yet keeping “Meant For You” exclusive to Summer and Ethan’s love story.
This is definitely more than a five star read and I personally don’t think any reviews can do justice to Summer’s character. She will remain as one of my top favorites forever.

It looks like my first read of Michele Dunaway is a runaway hit in my opinion. Reading a book just for the pleasure of it with no expectations sure brought me immense satisfaction and looks like Michele Dunaway will be on my to-continue-to-read list.
Mr. September aka Joe Marino sure knows how to seduce a woman with his infamous Marino charm and pure dedication to his job as a firefighter. Being photographed for the Sexy Public Servants Charity Calendar may not be his forte, but it brings him in contact with Taylor Krebs, the photographer.
Taylor is trying to make a life of her own as she completes her photography project and sustain her photography business. Putting behind her the crazy past she had with her possessive ex-boyfriend, she definitely is not looking to hook up with the gorgeous firefighter that everyone seems to love and respect.
Yet sparks fly between Joe and Taylor. Love doesn’t send an invitation seeking permission, and working closely together to spearhead Joe’s pet project for the Burns Recovery Support Group only makes it harder for them to ignore their feelings. Passion ignites stoking their desire and the entire Marino family supports the relationship with warmth and gusto. But Joe and Taylor have a few hang-ups and insecurities to work out, before they can hope for a future.
“Burning For You” is one of most sweetest and enchanting books I’ve read. Taylor with her will power to be independent, her big heart as she helps families deal with the death of loved ones through her camera, is a strong and tenacious lady looking for love and stability and you can’t help but like her. Joe as the savior, loving son and protective brother is just perfect as guilt and physical shortcomings just make him even more endearing.
Michele Dunaway does a super nice job of developing this enchanting love story with Joe and Taylor. There is so much warmth, love, friendship and support in this book, it flows in the pages and stays with us for a long time.
Burning For You will burn the shelves on April 7, 2015
