Have you guys visited the little town of Chance, Nebraska, prone to tornados of the weather kind and so much more of the tempestuous kind? Definitely all twisted up and tangled up in the game of love and passion!

Book two of Erin Nicholas’s Taking Chances series, has Max Grady chasing the storm of his lifetime with Bree McDermott. Adrenaline junkies they may be, but Max is feeling the need to put roots and Bree is all tangled up in inexplicable feelings of passion, care, love and the big commitment of life.

“Tangled Up” is one of those books that had to be read every word to feel the emotions, taste the passion, understand the sublime dynamics of Chance, enjoy the witty dialogues and savor the wholesome love story that Erin Nicholas created with so much care, depth and detail, created in tangent with “Twisted Up”

And this is where her prowess as a writer, a master of imagination and the queen of plotting is seen firsthand. Max and Bree will warm themselves into our hearts as they work out their fears and insecurities between heating up the sheets and cooling off with ice cream!

Do not miss one single line of this love story with its depth of emotions, wealth of family and friends, bucketful of witty banter and topped with hot fudge and cherry of love!

Laura Trentham’s Falcon Football Series continues to be captivating and charming as I finally get to her third book, “Melting Into You”, as the city returned artist Lilliana Hancock is busy melting the hard demeanor of Alec Grayson.

With a NFL career gone south due to an injury and betrayed by close ones, Alec Grayson lives his dreams being the quarterback coach for the Falcon High School. Caring deeply and wanting to help teenagers keep off of the streets and give them a better chance at fulfilling their dreams, Alec would risk getting hurt and personally involved to help them.

And Lilliana Hancock was never a part of his life and his goal. Coming to Falcon to turn her father’s home into a B&B hasn’t been easy, yet is a better plan than being a struggling artist in the Big Apple. Although making out with Alec, who also happens to be the town contractor, was never on her agenda.

Attraction has a way to bring people together, chemistry is a powerful element to bond and empathy and helpfulness is a common goal that brings Alec and Lilliana together as they try to sort through the fears and insecurities, past hurt and betrayal and come to grips of their for each other.

Another charming book by Laura Trentham, “Melting Into You” is a warm hearted read definite to bring a smile, a tear, a chuckle and the pleasure of reading a sweet love story.

Harper Crossing is brimming with love, new couples and a support structure of family, friends and caring – a sweet charming town filled with so much warmth that makes us dream of such communities and towns everyday. Love stories written by Melanie and Shawna with so much heart, and let’s not forget the heat of passion induced into their romances, giving the readers a healthy dose of romance, wit and fire to soothe a reader’s cravings!

One night of no sex all talk is what keeps Dax Archer away from other women, no roving eyes and no one night stands. That one night of soulful conversation with the stunning and beautiful Valentine Virginia is all it takes for Dax to breath and live for those memories. “All He Feels” is her absence, her laughter and her absence even as he misses her very presence.

Virginia ‘Ginny’ Valentine couldn’t forget that one night with Dax Archer anymore than he can. Leaving a brutal singing career behind, she comes to Harper Crossing to find some answers to her past, her heritage and give her crush over Dax a chance to evolve into a forever after. A nice twist with her past to make it interesting, add in the past characters as they make their presence felt, and throw in Dax’s mother and sister into the equation,  is an emotional and laughing riot of an intoxicating romance.

With immense talent, the sister duo weave together another sweet romance with seamless effort. I love these two, with their mastery of blending characters, plots and narration into one heartfelt and heated love story. It is almost impossible to say where Melanie starts and Shawna ends or vice versa.

My first read of Elizabeth Sinclair, “Bound By Fire” starts off a bit too slow and the crux of the story doesn’t move as much as trying to create a relationship between Jesse Kingston and Karen Ellis.

boundbyfire-elizabethsinclair-nov2016

Pregnant Karen is trying to get to the bottom of her fiancé Paul Jackson’s death in a wildfire and Jesse as the best friend of Paul has been trying to prove that Paul’s death was not an accident. With a common goal, Karen and Jesse end up spending time together uncovering clues, and the proximity leading to attraction. As they explore the sparks between them, a killer in plain sight will do anything to keep things under the ashes

The plot is interesting and not something new. It’s the narration and the lack of that grip on the plot, the lackluster suspense and thrill is what did not work for me. The story did drag in the middle pages. But the bottom line is that “Bound By Fire” can be read at least once. It’s one of those books that can be re-visited.

From Donna Grant comes a brand new series, “Sons Of Texas”, weaving a plot around the Loughman brothers, with a sub plot that involves their father and bringing the brothers together on a deadly as they try to unravel the mystery and suspense surrounding their father and his covert operations.

Death brings the highly decorated Navy Seal Owen Loughman home in the middle of a mission, and his longtime heart and soul Natalie Dixon seems to bind him with the shackles of love even as they try to find their kidnapped father and keep Natalie safe from being killed.

Donna Grant’s first foray into romantic suspense is just invigorating and brilliant. As the brothers try to decipher the deadly events, in the midst of evil, he finally accepts his love for Natalie, vowing to keep her safe and find the truth behind the deadly implications of world terrorism. And Donna delivers with intensity and passion, as each book can be read alone, it would be advisable to read them in sequence as the sub plot flows into the other two books as Wyatt and Cullen also find the women of their dreams.

A five star read and a definite addition to the library!
