Samantha Chase is quite the romantic writer and her stories are just fun, utterly delicious and supremely lovable to read. Simple stories, filled with love and romance, family and nurturing and a health dose of charisma and dazzle, they fill our hearts with warmth and happiness.

TheWeddingSeason-June2015

Her latest stand-alone novella “The Wedding Season” is just that – another charming story of two wonderful people brought together by matchmaking and meddling family.

Tricia Patterson and Sean Peterson have been best friends since high school and are looking forward to the weddings of their friends and hanging out with each other. But then fate and circumstances bring Ryan Peterson to Tricia instead and sets into motion a beautiful journey of romance and love.

Ryan’s always had a thing for Tricia and now with both of them attending weddings together as a couple ignites the spark between them into fireworks of passion and love. And it is yet to be seen if Tricia can finally have her own wedding or will misunderstandings break them apart?

Fun, witty and utterly charming, “The Wedding Season” is another adorable love story from Samantha Chase, and true to her writing prowess and creativity, is another gem of a read.

All it takes is “Minutes To Kill”, minutes for a situation to become deadly, minutes to become a witness from an innocent bystander and just minutes to become a target to be killed.

The second book in the Scarlet Falls Series by Melinda Leigh brings corporate attorney Hannah Barrett back home to Scarlet Falls with a killer right behind her heels. What was supposed to be a few days of vacation for Hannah turn into a nightmare with two killer brothers hell bent on seeing her dead for trying to help a teenager from being forced into sex trade.

MinutesToKill-ScarletFalls2

A cry for help from the very same girl she wasn’t able to help, brings her face to face with Detective Brody McNamara, her attraction, her apprehension and her lust. Having helped her family when her brother and sister-in-law were murdered, Brody has become a trusted member of the Barrett family. And seeing Hannah only brings out the spark, the respect and love he has for her and with killers on the spree in Scarlet Falls, he would do anything to keep Hannah and her family safe and protected.

I love the simplicity of the story, as a small incident becomes a threat to an innocent civilian. It could happen to anyone, and the repercussions of the incident bring out the strong dimensions of family support. It becomes a foundation to face some insecurity, overcome a few fears, and in the process become a stronger individual.

Melinda Leigh continues the saga of the Barrett Family in Scarlet Falls, as they try to come back as one unit to deal with the aftermath of the murder of their sibling and an ailing father with dementia. She does a brilliant job of giving the story the co-existence of danger and presence of family bond. The romance between Brody and Hannah is sublime and is a perfect pen as is the characterization of Brody and Hannah. Two strong individuals, independent yet dependent on each other, with strong belief of justice and family, Brody and Hannah will win the hearts of the readers.

“Minutes To Kill” can be read as a stand-alone, but I would highly recommend readers to start with “Hour Of Need” (where it all started), to enjoy the following books to the fullest

The “Fairy Tales Of New York” continue to tame us with their sizzle and charm as Seb Madison gets in the hot seat with Mercedes Hernandez.

TamingTheBeast-FairytalesOfNY3-LucyKing-Jun2015

With emotional demons and guilt plaguing his life, Seb Madison keeps himself aloof from his only family alive, his sister Zelda Madison. Making work as his only salvation, any relationship is far away from his mind and once encounter with the beautiful Mercy is even further buried into his memory, but not forgotten.

For Mercy Hernandez, the crush on the gorgeous beast of a Seb turns into deep love and she gets into his face to question his very existence of a lonely life. The sparks of lust and attraction are stronger than ever and just being together for no strings attached sex sure doesn’t seem to work for them.

Book three in the “Fairy Tales Of New York” written by Lucy King is just as fun and captivating as the other books in the series. She did a super fine job of creating Seb and the calm and patient Mercy, and both make a loving couple as Lucy King weaves a story of love, friendship and forgiveness.

“Taming The Beast” is another sweet ride of a romance.

The second fairy tale of the “Fairy Tales Of New York” is utterly charming and temptation galore. These tales are  impossible to resist and the four girlfriends are too beautiful and classy not to fall in love with them and their lives. And Zelda has her day “Tempting The Knight” into submission!

TemptingTheKnight-FairyTalesOfNY2-HeidiRice-Jun 2015

They say bad girls have all the fun and Zelda Madison is living proof of that. Losing parents at a young age and being ignored by her only brother, she’s got some serious issues with fate that took her to the pinnacle of being a super model. And that same fate lands her in jail and Tyrone Sullivan imprisons her heart.

Tyrone Sullivan has his hands full when he rescues Zelda and a history with her that makes him stand in judgment of her life. Circumstances have Zelda sharing his boathouse and that rocks their lives as they succumb to the attraction. But Zelda has an addictive past that threatens their future, and Tyrone refuses to be anything but her knight in shining armor, supporting her and giving her his heart forever.

Cute, charming and with enough sizzle to zap the brains, Heidi Rice did a great job weaving a fairy tale around Zelda and Ty. Loved the flow of the story and the interconnecting links among the friends. And I loved the emotion packed scenes between Zelda and her beast of a brother!

Who doesn’t love fairy tales? And when those fairy tales are made of devilishly handsome males and sinfully beautiful females, with so many hang-ups and insecurities, it only adds more charm and sizzle as readers relate to their fears in life.

PursuedByTheRogue-FairyTalesOfNY-KellyHunter-Jun2015

And the “Fairy Tales Of New York” are just that and some more. Co-written by four talented and lovable authors, the series is just pure magic and pixie dust as they take us on the journey of four friends through their life.

First in the series, “Pursued By The Rogue”, is just that. Supremely intelligent and hardworking Dawn Turner has made a name for herself in genetic testing and runs her own company. But all the fame and money doesn’t erase the fear of genetics running in her family nor do they help in fading the memories of the sinful Finbar Sullivan.

One night ten years ago changes all and ten years later, one glance changes her future. Fin is a world-class concert pianist and one glance from Dawn is all it takes to start where they left off.

I just loved, loved this story!!!!! It’s beautiful in its love, rich in its friendship and support, deep in emotions as Dawn struggles with the possibility of a genetic disease and Fin solidifies his stand right next to her, and powerful with its chemistry and strength of families.

And Kelly Hunter is dead on with her writing prowess!!
