Continuing with her wonderful series, “From Manhattan With Love”, Sarah Morgan extended her series to the extended family, and each book is a treasure trove of fun, emotions, romance and charm.

HolidayInTheHamptons-FromManhattanWithLove#5-SarahMorgan-Aug2017

With Daniel finally settling down with Molly, looks like fate is pointing it’s finger towards Felicity Knight aka Fliss and her handsome and sexy vet Seth Carlyle and did I mention that he was also her ex-husband, once upon a time.

With lots of unanswered questions, a terrible past that widened the gap between these young lovers, and a love that refused to die, destiny has different plans for Seth and Fliss. Escaping to the Hamptons from New York to avoid Seth, she literally ends up in the same place has Seth…talk about karma and fate!

Seth will not let Fliss go this time, and Fliss has a bucket load of insecurities to overcome and accept the fact that she never was able to let Seth go. Filled with some witty and emotional conversations, opening herself to family and friends, overcoming the fear of love and loss, Sarah Morgan created Fliss to perfection. With immense patience and love, tenacity and understanding, Seth is one of those book boyfriends, you wish was in your life.

Sarah Morgan’s “From Manhattan With Love” series is utterly charming, whimsical and enchanting as the magic of New York spreads to the extended family. And looks like Cupid is ready to strike the second Knight twin.

Catherine Bybee is one of the most beautiful and entertaining writers I’ve had the pleasure of reading and re-visit several times and here she is with another interesting series, “First Wives Series”.

“Fool Me Once” is the start of this series and boy oh boy, isn’t it a totally novel concept of a plot. The foundation of the series, Alliance in itself is so very fascinating and the coming of the First Wives Club is even more enthralling and riveting.

FoolMeOnce-FirstWives#1-CatherineBybee-Sept2017

As the attorney for Alliance, once divorced and founding member of the so called First Wives Club, Lori Cumberland sets off on a cruise with recent rich divorcees, to keep them out of the limelight and to enjoy some much needed rest and relaxation from the media. She definitely doesn’t need Reed Barlow to throw a wrench in her plans.

Reed Barlow is on a mission to gather intel, not fall in love with the cynical attorney. Yet he cannot keep his distance from Lori and the attraction sparks lust and eventually don’t accept-it’s-love mode. The cruise becomes their dating platform and secrets are just on the horizon to bring a storm.

“Fool Me Once” is an absolute surprise of a read. There’s so much intrigue and suspense, sublime romance and the chemistry between all the players is an absolute pleasure to read and enjoy. Lori and Reed, other members of the First Wives Club, and not to mention Lori’s partner in crime running Alliance and her team of security, this story is adventurous, romantic and truly stunning!

Catherine Bybee is one amazing author you don’t want to miss reading. Her stories are based on real life events, there’s humor in anxiety, emotion in passion, trust in distrust and love in many different ways. She is a master in bringing out the best in her characters and penning a story that brings out her very best.

Demolished – Owens Of Blue Bay

The Blue Bay Crew – start of a new series featuring the Owens siblings in the town of Blue Bay Crew written by Cathryn Fox; another captivating series for the readers for sure.

Fox_Demolished

First in the series, “Demolished” brings bad boy, Sean Owens to his hometown, to take care of his father’s construction business and set roots. He never dreamed that his past girlfriend Summer Wheeler would ever be in Blue Bay under a false name refusing to acknowledge him.

Summer Wheeler is running from a tragic past leaving her alone and coming home to Blue Bay is her way of staying under the radar of the people hunting her. Coming face to face with her lover Sean and having to take his help to fix her home was never in her plan.

A decent story, but somehow not captivating as her earlier stories, “Demolished” can be read once. Sean and Summer make good enough characters, but somehow the plot lacked the needed intrigue and suspense to make a lasting impression

Have you read a love story and felt it was super cool read? Well, “A Cowboy To Keep” is a definite cool keeper and it’s always fun visiting Marietta and it’s wonderful couples.

ACowboyToKeep-BarbaraAnkrum-Aug2017

Barbara Ankrum’s latest is a charming love story with a twist of suspense, bringing Ali Thibeaux to the wonderful town of Marietta albeit undercover to see a sister she never knew existed and get a reprieve from a past that refuses to leave her. Becoming a housekeeper and falling in love with a rancher was never in her plan.

Becoming a parent to his niece was something that reclusive rancher Adam Wolf would have ever dreamed, but tragedy brings these two under one roof, but a distance as wide as the Atlantic. Impulsive as it was hiring Ali as his housekeeper, the consequences are fateful to the sparks that flare between them.

Am totaling loving Barbara Ankrum and her charming romances; rich with emotion, interesting plots and characters that make us fall in love with them, “A Cowboy To Keep “is a definite winner!

Whatever books I’ve read of Maisey Yates, have been fun, lighthearted and warm. Her latest in the Copper Ridge Series, “Wild Ride Cowboy” is just as charming reuniting Alex Donnelly and Clara Campbell.

WildRideCowboy-CopperRidgeSeries-MaiseyYates-Aug2017

The death of his best friend and brother in arms brings Alex Donnelly back home to fulfill his friend’s last wishes, a task he’s not looking forward to, and an act that would keep in close proximity to the one love in his life, Clara Campbell.

Losing her family and a brother she had adored leaves Clara Campbell alone to run their depleting ranch, trying to make ends meet and survive on the meager earnings. Realizing that the ranch was left in the guardianship of Alex Donnelly is as shocking as her feelings for Alex.

“Wild Ride Cowboy” is sweet ride of read. Alex as the protective cowboy and the man in love, helping Clara is a treat and Clara as the courageous woman trying to keep her family ranch going is one of Maisey’s strong characters I’ve read her. Add in the sparks of attraction and Maisey Yates does a fine job developing their relationship making it a pleasure to read this story.
