The war between the Dragon Kings and the Dark Fae continues in the Dark Kings saga as the Dragon Kings try to put an end to the war and bring peace with the mortals. And as each Dragon King falls victim to the game of love, they have more to lose now than ever.

Blaze-DarkKings#11-DonnaGrant-May2017

As the plot thickens and the secret of the Dragon Kings existence is blown open, Dragon King Anson is tasked with infiltrating the company that has been leaking their secrets and trying to convince one of the top personnel, Devon Abrams to cooperate has been a hardship on his heart.

As Devon and Anson give into their desire, getting kidnapped was not in their plan of action. As they battle the evils with their allies, slivers of secrets seem to burst open in this constant battle of revenge…. secrets that may lead to devastation. Yet in the midst of this mayhem, the “Blaze” of love is a welcome respite as the Dragon Kings mate with their forever.

I love the way Donna Grant has been leading this story, giving the Dragon Kings some love, yet keeping the crux of the plot very open with glimpses of what the future might be, slivers of secrets among the powers of the universe, a see-saw of emotions as foes are separated from allies, and courage and fears are put to the test.

“Blaze” has opened up some secrets and the plot thickens with suspense and anticipation as to what the next book would reveal.

My very first read of D.D Ayres hasn’t been disappointing, yet “Physical Forces” is definitely missing a spark.

PhysicalForces-K9Rescue-DDAyres-May2017

The concept of a pet detective seems novel and add in a K-9 Search and Rescuer to the equation, the plot is good, the concept is neat, but I missed the chemistry between Macayla Burkett and Oliver Kelly and that emotional connection of a pair that would jump off the pages of the book. Individually I liked them both.

“Physical Forces” is a one time read for me. Would I entertain reading D. D Ayers again? Absolutely. Like I said, narration was good, storyline was entertaining, just the wow factor was missing for me.

Elena Aitken is a classy writer. I’ve read a handful of her books and enjoyed them immensely. And it’s wonderful reading her again, as she starts a new series with “The McCormicks”.

“Love In The Moment” is what Gwen Henderson is aiming for. A total makeover and personal transformation lands Gwen in a successful blogging career, yet where the matters of the heart are concerned, isn’t everyone scared and insecure. Coming back home to Cedar Springs is bittersweet for Gwen, a past filled with unhappy memories and a person who refuses to leave her heart.

Ian McCormick is back home permanently to plant roots and start his own business in Cedar Springs. With family drama that can give the soap operas a run for their money, he can’t seem to leave them behind. And now with his stepsister coming to stay with him, and the presence of Gwen making his heart skip beats, Ian has his hands full.

As Gwen and Ian act on their attraction, living in the moment and caught up in their “Love In The Moment”, it takes only a slip of a tongue for Gwen’s secret to fall open, and hearts to fall apart. But love finds a way; trust forms a relationship and hope ignites for a future of happiness.

A well written and classy story of just not love, but of overcoming insecurities and fears, motivation and will power to works towards the positives in life, and keeping your heart open for love and friendship to find a home. Ian and Gwen are deserving of each other, and Elena Aitken gives her readers another charming love story.

Resident and bar owner, Bryson O’Sullivan of Wishing Well, Texas falls victim to the embers of passion and loses himself to the blazing love that erupts in his heart. But “Trusting Bryson” maybe a little bit of a hurdle for the new resident of Wishing Well, Kelsi Robbins, who just moved into town with her brother, and as his guardian.

Kelsi Robbins feels the sparks of attraction, but a painful past away from her brother has her walls up, and trying to mend the relationship with her brother has her fully occupied. Well for Bryson he’s found his forever and it’s just a matter of convincing Kelsi. When circumstance with her brother brings these two together, Bryson is not letting go of any opportunity to prove his love for Kelsi.

And as readers, “Trusting Bryson” is all that’s needed to enjoy this sweet romance along with enjoying the stunning cover!

The sister writer/author duo of Melanie and Shawna need no introduction. Pros at creating charming love stories that stoke the hearts of the readers; trust me when I say, you’ll have loads of fun, tingling sensations, heart palpitations and immense satisfaction of reading a good romance that warms the heart and brings immense pleasure.

A new series from Kat Martin is always a pleasure to read. From The Raines to The Brodies to The Boss Inc, all have been a thrilling pleasure to read and now the Texas Trilogy is out next week, and is definitely worth giving it a read.BeyondReason-TexasTrilogy#1-KatMartin

Book one of the series, “Beyond Reason” opens with a funeral and the magnetic presence of billionaire Lincoln Cain. A funeral that raises more questions for Carly Drake, inheriting Drake’s Trucking after her grandfather’s death and now a close friend and ally of many years is six feet under.

Linc has turned his life around, thanks to Carly’s grandfather and now has success, money and power riding his ass, but he may not be able to keep his promise of keeping Carly safe as a series of incidents seem to target Carly. As the mystery unfolds and a betrayal from within rocks the company, Carly and Linc have to put their lives on line to out maneuver the danger that is trying to take control of Drake’s Trucking.

An interesting plot that starts off the new Texas Trilogy, “Beyond Reason” is captivating. Kat Martin’s characters, Linc and Carly make a good team with their stubbornness, courage and intelligence, giving the story a good dose of passion and suspense to make this a worthy read.
