The Doctor’s Redemption – Guilt And Forgiveness

I came across Victoria James quite by accident and I ended up liking her books. Her “Still Harbor” series is one of my favorites I’ve read. Book three in the Shadow Creek, Montana Series, is another charming story of tragedy, regrets, forgiveness and a chance at love and a future with no guilt.

Doctor Luke Thompson is the epitome of pain and guilt as tries to get over the fact that he was responsible for a tragedy that brought pain to innocent people. He never thought that he could take a guilt free breath until he unknowingly falls for the woman who is facing the loss due to his actions.

Gwen Bailey is one of the most sweetest, helpful and kindest persons that you can come across. Always thinking of others and coming from a family filled with love and support, it is hard for her to accept the truth about the love of her life Luke.

A story filled with pain and loss, hope and forgiveness, love and care, it takes Luke and Gwen and whole lot of time to overcome the guilt and pain. Another emotional love story by Victoria James, well written and narrated, “The Doctor’s Redemption” is filled with warmth and love.

Trying It All – Mr. Predictable Meets Ms. Unpredictable

I have to keep repeating myself that if anyone hasn’t read “The Naked Men” series, you are missing out on a fabulous and entertaining saga of love stories written by Christi Barth…. of five friends, blood brothers since teenagers, partners in death and life, bachelors who have fallen to their knees in love…and Christi Barth totally rocks these romances…. this is one series that I strongly vouch to be read!

The fourth “Naked Man” Riley Ness, the planner, the organizer, the guy who is anal about being ready for anything every single moment of his life, finally meets his match in Summer Sheridan, the gorgeous, the flighty, the lady who takes life head on with absolutely zero planning. And there’s absolutely no way of escaping each other, as they are part of the tight circle of friendship.

Polar opposites yet the sparks of attraction bring them together, diverse views as wide as the ocean, yet lust seems to keep them together, and with their outlook on life at two ends of the spectrum, the wholesomeness of their relationship seems to bind them together. Summer and Riley keep the readers entertained, “Trying It All” with their dynamic antics and verbal spars and the credit of plotting a smashing love story goes to Christi Barth. This is one author discovered that am totally in love with and look forward to reading her books.

The entire series should be read to enjoy these Naked Men, as they open up their hearts and feelings to the outside world, baring themselves to the world of their fears and insecurities, laying the fact that successful and rich men do have their own issues and that life is just one happy place because you have the money.

The Cowboy And The Doctor – Keep The Readers Entertained

The Gallaghers of Montana have fallen and fallen hard and Dylan Gallagher is no exception. The last and single son of the clan, the eternal playboy and cowboy finally meets his match in the sweet and hard working ER surgeon Samantha Striker.

The doctor resists, the cowboy persists. The doctor deflects and the cowboy perseveres. Finally the doctor cracks and the cowboy swoops in a heartbeat. And when Dylan and Samantha officially becomes a couple, someone is not happy at all and will go over the edge to end their happiness.

It’s a really light hearted, warming and charming story of love. Dylan and Samantha make a precious couple, and throw in a generous mix of witty banter, supporting characters, “The Cowboy And The Doctor” by Eve Gaddy is a precious read.

Rebecca Zanetti’s “Blood Brothers” series started off with “Deadly Silence”, and continues with the “Lethal Lies” that haunt the Blood Brothers. A spin off of the Sin Brothers Series, these blood brothers are trying to eliminate the evil that turned them into experimental soldiers for pure evil intentions. Hiding behind the “Lost Bastards Investigative Agency” as private investigators, Ryker, Heath and Denver are trying to create a normal life for themselves.

All Anya Best wants is revenge for her sister murdered by the infamous Copper Killer. A new series from Melinda Leigh brings on another dose of adrenaline rush and suspense, as she introduces the readers to Morgan Dane and Lance Kruger, their thirst for justice that reunites them and an attraction that flares into passion and the evolving of their relationship.

Book one in the Morgan Dane series, “Say You’re Sorry”, plunges Morgan Dane into an investigation of her one time baby sitter, Tessa. Coming to Scarlet Falls with her three daughters to start fresh after her husband’s death, was on her agenda. Getting back into her role of a prosecutor was her next step, but circumstances take her to the other side of law, as she sacrifices her career to defend an innocent.

Teaming up with Lance Kruger, an ex-cop and now a private investigator, the hunt for the murderer reveals secrets and betrayals that led to the death of an innocent young girl. As the secrets fall open, so does the relationship between Lance and Morgan, giving them a second chance to see if they can have a future.

What I love about Melinda Leigh is her prowess at peeling layer after layer of revelations, keeping that suspense going, making “Say You’re Sorry” a very interesting read, as she gives immense attention to details of the investigation as well as developing the relationship between Lance and Morgan. Placing secondary characters at the right place in the plot, making them an important part of the story adds strength and character.

A brilliant start to what seems to be a brilliant series!
