The third book in the Loveless and Dunn Series brings Mallory Reynolds back home to Magnolia Bay. Taking a break from the startling revelation of her pseudo writer image of erotic fiction, Mallory comes back to her supportive family, her first love and the warmth of Magnolia Bay.

ForgetMeNot-ErikaMarks-May2015

Josh Loveless has been holding a candle for Mallory forever it seems and puts the separation and anger to good use by opening the store of his dreams, with is passion for rock climbing and outdoors. With Mallory in town, it brings back some old pain and with Mallory being an erotic writer has Josh on rocky ground.

“Forget Me Not” is a short story filled with charm and simplicity. Josh and Mallory are lovable and good together, and Erika Marks does a fine job of holding her readers with interest and enough romance to bring smiles and happiness.

There are no words to describe Katie Reus’s works except read them, enjoy them and devour them. From paranormal to deadly ops to red-hot security experts, her stories are passionate, steamy and adrenaline pumping reads.

On the path of vengeance, the Brennan sisters Nika and Alena would do anything to bring justice to their slain parents and put a closure to that part of their lives and move on with the new identities. But the road to vengeance is not as easy as they thought and ex-CIA and security expert Declan Gallagher becomes an irresistible bump on the way.

Retribution-KatieReus-May2015

Nika is still trying to come to terms with a gift that was born out of an accident, and Declan as her dream-walker is not making it easy, giving her sleepless nights. With the spirits of the dead and Declan’s protective clock hovering around her, Nika can’t seem to resist the passion and lust that flares between her and Declan, and neither can she ignore the visions that leave her haunted.

With danger and betrayal close to home, Declan would do anything to save Nika to keep her with him forever, and Nika would risk everything to save her sister from death and keep Declan safe, even if she has to sacrifice her love and move far away.

“Retribuiton” is another brilliant stand-alone novel, as Katie Reus weaves a super tight screenplay of evil, passion, betrayal and death. Nika and Declan will leave you with so many warring feelings of helplessness, fear, lust, passion and love that will make you re-visit them again and again. The suspense is tight, the vengeance is justified, the betrayal is cruel and the ending is perfect.

I hope Katie is thinking of stories for Alena, Andre and Declan’s gifted brothers!

I’ve never read Hal Rappaport and when given a copy of “Hath No Fury” to review, honestly had no clue what to expect. I am more of a fast-paced paranormal, shifters, demon gods and dragon kings kinda girl, and this story literally put a stop to my fast pace.

HathNoFury-HalRappaport

The story revolves around two childhood friends Amy and Mark, along with Christy later on, as they try to live behind the veil of magik. And as they mature into young adults, they have deal with the evil that lurks in the shadows. Mark’s soul is in danger of being taken over, and it is left to these three to figure out the evil.

Not being my style of book to read, “Hath No Fury” took me a few days to get the hang of it, and a then a few more before I could finish it. As you get into the later part of their growing years, it definitely gets more interesting and keeps a grip on you.

Readers who enjoy slow-paced paranormal, magic and witches will definitely love this story. I found certain parts wordy yet with good narration, great attention to detail and an amazing sense of creativity, does a fine job with “Hath No Fury”. This is book one of the The Lesson Of Three.

Another cute story from Roxanne Snopek’s camp of love stories, “The Millionaire Daddy Project” has the handsome and successful Dane Bergman at a loss when he finds himself at the receiving end of an adorable five-year old girl – his daughter. Playboy days are over and Daddy days leave him in total chaos and stress-filled days and sleepless nights.

TheMillionaireDaddyProject-RoxanneSnopek-May2015

And being the charmer her is, he manipulates his ever efficient, perfect and beautiful assistant Pamela Atwater to help him from a fast death and become a devil in the eyes of his daughter. A month long get away on sandy beaches brings lot of growing pains of raising a child, a child missing her dead mother, a playboy who would do anything to become the father his child deserves, and the spark of attraction that ignites between Dane and Pam just adds more sizzle to this book.

I liked Dane as the ruthless successful businessman, yet has the heart of gold. I loved the way Roxanne took the story to a few surprises. It added charm and mystery to the package. Pam was super adorable as the super efficient secretary, always protecting Dane, humble and kind as she helps run the company, and as the woman who lost her heart to her boss, just adds so much more depth to her character.

And I’m not sure what it is, but the ending was just very sweet and apt and had me feeling all mushy and happy! Must be the way Roxanne narrated it, but I loved it and the entire book gives a good feeling of love and romance.

I’ve decided to retire to Marietta and get a permanent ringside seat to all the excitement that seems to grace this little enchanting town. Bachelor auctions, hot cowboys, unsuspecting love weaving magic, and the essence of romance filling the air is just perfect, as these potpourri of authors create love stories around these wonderful people.

The second book in the Montana Born Brides brings out “His Blushing Bride” Piper Tierney even as Sebastian Bloom wants to fight his feelings for her. On a break from his doctorate program, Bastian comes to Marietta to attend his sister’s wedding and ends up falling head over heals for the shy and blushing Piper.

HisBlushingBride-MontanaBrides2-DaniCollins-May2015

Taking over from her father, Piper is the music teacher in Marietta High. Born with a birthmark on her face and having endured childhood teasing and bullying, Piper maybe a successful and beautiful, but her history with the opposite sex has a lot of learning to be done. And Sebastian charms her pants off and they fall into an affair that is supposed to be temporary or can Bastian convince Piper into becoming the next Marietta bride?

Dani Collins writes some really sweet love stories. I loved the fact that she gave her heroine a flaw that could happen to anyone. I admire the way she made Piper into this strong and independent woman, yet vulnerable and sensitive, wanting to be loved for who she is, a beauty inside out. And this beautiful lady sends Bastian into an emotional roller coaster as he tries to fathom his feeling for Piper and convince her of his love being genuine and permanent.

Another charming romance in the town of Marietta, and it’s always so very wonderful to revisit characters from the previous stories.
