Tough on the outside, with a heart as big as Wyoming. Protective to the core, with justice and fairness running in blood. And when the tough have to wage a battle with love, heart and soul takes to the knees.

Meet the oldest of the Wilde brothers, Hunt Wilde. A lawman to the core and serving justice with fairness, his heart beats for Cyn Wilson, as wild as Wyoming.

Vibrant as the colof of her hair, salon owner Cyn Wilson lives life to the fullest, with a heart of gold and ever helpful to her townspeople, and her heart skips a beat every time Hunt crosses her path.

When Cyn’s sister and her niece disappear, Cyn turns to Hunt for help. A traumatic situation that brings Cyn and Hunt together working alongside, as they explore the attraction between them. A trauma that cements their relationship as well as the love and trust they have with each other.

As always, Jennifer Ryan with her exceptional writing and narrative skills, threads a story of love and family, no holds barred. I loved the parallel story line with Cyn’s sister that actually develops the relationship between Cyn and Hunt, cementing their intimacy and commitment to each other. Supporting family characters, the humorous innuendos and witty conversations, add charm and chemistry to the story.

Disclaimer: The story revolves around domestic abuse which may be a trigger.

Rebecca Zanetti has taken her readers on an amazing thrill ride with the “Sin Brothers Series” and the spin off of the new “Blood Brothers” series starts off with a “Deadly Silence” as all the players are brought onto the stage of experiments, betrayal and secrets that seem to exist among them, yet those very secrets seem to cement a bond with these enhanced blood brothers.

Behind the “Lost Bastards Investigative Agency” are a group of blood brothers, with a past tortured by scientific experiments and genetic testing that erases the human to create a beast. Yet that very fear of the beast motivates the brothers to escape and help the innocent. As a PI, Ryker Jones has a very good cover up, but the past has a way of creeping up within the shadows of his life and his brothers and he would kill to protect his family.

As a paralegal Zara Remington has her hands full, what with her legal work helping a friend and her nights being spent with Ryker. Little does she know that one of her cases would lead her straight into danger and get into the cross hairs of Ryker’s past. Strong, independent and stubborn, Zara fights for the innocent, and would give her life for her loved ones…just like Ryker.

A brilliant start to the series, “Deadly Silence” also brings the Sin Brothers and it is always a pleasure to have them re-visit the readers. And the story doesn’t disappoint as Rebecca Zanetti weaves another series, to give another set of blood brothers justice and hope for a normal life.

I have to blame this hot and kind cowboy for enjoying his story so much. Logan McCord’s future may have gone down the clown’s ass, but it only paved the way to his real life partner Reese Stephens. A one-night stand to drown their sorrows leaves them longing for more, but fate says it’s time for a separation.

Yet destiny brings Reese back into Logan’s life and his hometown. But with Reese also comes a past that has tainted her whole life forcing her to move from one place to another. The attraction between Logan and Reese gives her a hope for laying down roots, yet her past and Logan’s ex seem to make it a bit difficult for them.

I think this is by far one of Delores’s best book I’ve read. Granted I love all her books, but “Blame It On The Cowboy” for the extra pizzazz, extra charisma and extra chemistry that had me falling in love with Logan and Reese. Reese is one heck of a courageous girl, smiling in the face of adversity, always putting others ahead of her, always with a helping hand and a kind heart. And Logan is the quintessential cowboy with a heart of gold, protecting his loved ones and dealing with his meddling siblings.

The entire story was fast paced, Reese’s best friend is a riot, intense passion and witty dialogues are a treasure to enjoy, and the chemistry between Logan and Reese is fabulous considering they are fictional characters and all that credit goes to Delores Fossen as she gives us another entertaining love story.

Mary Kildare and Glen Fairchild may be “Not Quite Perfect” for each other but somehow they find themselves together to make a perfect future.

Therapist and a good friend, Mary Kildare has rolled with the punches that life had dealt her, and she has become a successful therapist and had made a life. Although the scars of abandonment and loneliness have taken permanent residence emotionally, she has come a long way in making friends and planting roots. Her quite and normal life takes the wings of a wild and passionate course when Glen Fairchild makes an appearance again.

Wealthy businessman, playboy and pilot Glen Fairchild believes in non-commitment and is always on the course of playing the field. Yet Mary is never far away from his thoughts and when circumstances bring him back to Mary, he acts on the opportunity that fate has given him and so the romance starts.

Catherine Bybee always throws in a surprise and I really didn’t see that spark of danger lurking in Mary’s backyard! And Glen becomes the protector, savior and confident as they try to overcome the threat that shadows Mary. With sassy dialogues and flirty actions, with kind and caring people, pages of warmth and support, and appearance of previous characters only adds more magic to this love story as Mary and Glen try to make the best of a bicoastal relationship.

I love the way Catherine Bybee gives importance to the depth of relationships and the maturity of nurturing them with patience and love. She created Glen and Mary to perfection with their goodness, kindness and just two beautiful people who deserve to be together. Attention to details, the sequence of narration and the practical plot add more flavor and warmth to this fifth book in the “Not Quite Series” making it a brilliant read.

You want something charismatic and sweet, irresistible and endearing, lovable and fuzzy…. then all you need to do is grab one of Melanie Shawn’s innumerable romances and enjoy their delicious and steamy love stories.

Their latest novella is part of the Someday Series, and this is a super quick read as Michelle Mitchell finally gets her “Book Boyfriend” Sebastian Winters.

bookboyfriend-somedayseriesnovella-melanieshawn-aug2016

Student and book nerd, Michelle is a totally anti normal girl with purple streaks, quirky fashion sense, and tats, loves her books, loves her college and loves life. Having Sebastian Winters, the college’s star baseball player and ranker follow her on Instagram totally rocks her world. And Sebastian Winters has been eyeing Michelle for the longest time and finally he seems to get his dream girl forever.

The reason I love this sister duo of Melanie and Shawna is no matter the length of the story, they can create real and relatable characters that mold well with the narration story, without leaving the readers feeling deprived of the development of characters or their individuality. There is no dearth of emotions and romance, importance to secondary characters or the true essence of the plot.

And the cover is gorgeous!!!!!

This is too cute a love story to pass, and is a definite read
