I’m really enjoying these short love stories of the “Bachelor Auction Series”, brought to readers by Tule Publishing and opening readers to a potpourri of enchanting authors. Centered around Marietta, Montana, the Bachelors Auction Series is a compilation of sexy billionaires and their happily-ever-after stories, warm and brimming with love and family support.

BoundToTheBachelor-SarahMayberry-Mar2015

“Bound To The Bachelor” starts off the series as the citizens of Marietta are having a bachelor auction to raise funds for the young Josh, injured in an accident; an auction that has sexy and elusive billionaires up for grabs. Lily Taylor, organizing the auction for her best friend and son, manipulates Beau Bennett, the successful business owner into being part of the auction.

Lily and Beau try to stay away from each other, ignoring the sparks that flare between them, every time they are in close proximity. Lily’s past as a stripper to survive when she is a teenager doesn’t sit well with some of the residents, but leaving that life behind and working in Marietta gives her some confidence and she is content with her life now.

Having feelings for his sister’s best friend is not on Beau’s agenda, yet he agrees to be part of the auction. And like a true gentleman, when Lily wins him in the auction, he goes out of his way to give her the best date of her life. And that date leads to them giving into feelings for each other and test the boundaries of their attraction and lust.

When a dangerous person from Lily’s past rears his ugly head, Beau goes all the way out to protect his love and make sure she stays right beside him…. forever.

“Bound To The Bachelor” is a short and fun read, but there is no dearth of passion and love, pain and hurt, insecurities and uncertainties that make this a really good read. Spunky and witty, Lily keeps Beau on his toes and readers loving her for her warmth and friendship as well. All alpha and arrogant, Beau gives Lily sleepless nights of dreams for a future she may never have, and leaves us readers wanting a person like Beau in our life, protective, charming and caring.

“Bound To The Bachelor” is a fun and warm story from Sarah Mayberry and hoping to read her more of her. She’s done a find job of creating this charming and enticing love story and keeps you happy. A definite five starry read for me!

TheBachelorsBaby-DaniCollins-Mar2015

The Bachelors Auction Series is a compilation of sexy billionaires and their happily-ever-after, written by a potpourri of amazing writers, all new reads for me……heavenly!!!!!

“The Bachelor’s Baby”, book three of the series written by Dani Collins, brings Linc Brady to the town of Marietta, wanting to set roots in this tiny community. Tired of the oilrigs, the travels and the high life of the cities, he wants to settle down and live a quiet life of calm and peace.

And Meg Cannon, with her sassy and witty attitude, shatters that calm and peace. Helping raise funds to help her friend and her injured son, she manipulates Linc into being one of the bachelors to be auctioned off.

Sparks flare and the boundaries of lust are crossed for one sizzling night of passion. And that one night changes their lives forever.

“The Bachelor’s Baby” is a sweet and fun story as Linc and Meg try to get to know each other, with the inevitable consequence of that one night of passion. Linc has some past hang ups to overcome, and Meg has to let go of the insecurities of being adopted and wanting to be needy and loved all the time. Linc and Meg muddle through emotions and uncertainties as they fall in love trying to build a future.

Charming and endearing, Dani Collins keeps her readers entertained and captivated with “The Bachelor’s Baby.”

I love these Big Sky Montana Mavericks…a lot!!!!! They are amazing, strong, courageous, tenacious and steeped in love and family.

Debra Salonen’s next installment of her Big Sky Mavericks Series, “Montana Maverick” is a story of unconditional love and support, the ever presence of a family steeped in family values and roots

Meg Zabrinski is a famous scientist, environmental advocate, especially wolves and a professor, and very independent. Level headed and with utmost love for her large family, she is a nurturer with a big heart and would love to help anyone. As her biological clock ticks, her one desire in life is to carry a child. Holed in cabin all alone on a sabbatical gives her a chance to put things in perspective and prioritize her life.

Henry Firestone literally crashes into Meg’s life along with his four grandchildren. Young grandfather and with a secret crush on Meg, he wants nothing more than to have Meg in his life and take on his readymade family. Losing his only daughter and done having children of his own, his main goal is to get the custody of his grandchildren.

Former rivals and with secret crush on each other, Meg and Henry succumb to the sparks that turn into fire in the icy winter of Montana. Of all the mavericks of Debra Salonen, my favorites are Meg and Henry. It may be hard to believe that such people exist, but I know from personal experience, that the world has good people with big hearts as the size of Montana, always giving and never asking anything in return.

“Montana Maverick” is a beautiful love story of two middle age people, filled with so many of life’s questions, decisions to be made, a couple trying to find answers and finally getting their love and making a future. Henry and Meg along with the Zabrinski family make you feel humble with their abundance of love and support.

This is one must read story steeped with emotions, uncertainties and the importance of family and their solidarity.

I don’t recall ever reading Roxanne Snopek, although feels that I should know her writings. But “The Cowboy Next Door” in my opinion just did not make my heart skip a beat, shiver in anticipation or tingle me happy.

TheCowboyNextDoor-RoxanneSnopek

I’m really not sure what did not work for me in this book, but I get the feeling that the story was pieced in a hurry with no proper development of characters. Granted Leda is a young and single mother, but not that young to sound immature, confused, and childlike.

Past rodeo star turned agent Eric Anders is organized, efficient, and can’t stand to see anyone being hurt or cheated of what they are entitled to in life. And in this case, he wants to help Leda get what she’s entitled from the jerk who left her pregnant.

Somehow Leda and Eric just did not click as a couple. Age has never been an issue for me, but “The Cowboy Next Door” sure did not tingle my senses or draw me into his love story with Leda. And Leda’s character really did not ignite any empathy or sympathy. The characters just lacked chemistry and that special bond, which draws a reader into their story.

Book 3 of the Hot Aussie Heroes Series, “The Playboy” goes the way of Book 1, The Cowboy for me – too short to develop the characters and the story.

Actress Alexia Burton returns to Australia to research for a role she covets in LA, a role that demands her to be sexually confident and self-assured. And to achieve this the innocent Alexia needs to find a lover, who would just teach her the nuances of intense desire, flirty and sensual, with no strings attached.ThePlayboy-HotAussieHero3-MadelineAsh-Jan2015

In walks the rich surfer boy and bar owner Parker Hargreaves. Alexia and Parker share an unpleasant past that left her hurt. But now Parker wants to make amends, and who better than he to help Alexia research for her role.

The story line is plausible; Madeline Ash’s writing is good, yet the development of the story and the relationship lacked conviction, chemistry and charm. Somehow I couldn’t relate to the characters and their thoughts. I just wish that there were more to Parker and Alexia. It’s like the story is missing its heart and soul.

Rest assured that I would read Madeline Ash again, but “The Playboy” just did not sizzle my libido.
