Katie Reus visits Red Stone Security bringing us another quick and intense read as Ivy Danger faces off not only a physical danger but also the danger of losing her heart to her best friend, Nash Harris. As an art recovery expert, Ivy leads an interesting and fulfilling life professionally, but her heart seems to call for home and Nash Harris.

New minted operative for Red Stone Security, Nash Harris has always loved Ivy and when circumstances lead them to fake a relationship, he jumps in with his two feet! And when Ivy’s life is threatened working her new case, Nash is right with her covering her six.

This is such a witty story and the dynamics of the Danger family and the dialogue is just a super fun read. It’s always wonderful to re-visit the original characters of Red Stone and makes you go back to read the entire series all over again. But each story is a standalone and playing catch up on the series is just pure reading pleasure to the new readers.

This light and quick read from Katie Reus is perfect for the romantic at heart.

I love reading new authors and my first read of Nicole Helm, and is definitely a surprise.

“Cowboy Seal Homecoming” is a charming read of a prodigal son returning to his roots and starting fresh outside of his SEAL days. Alex Maguire returns home to with his SEAL buddies, to a home he’s ignored, to a life that he had refused to be a part of, and to a step- sister he hardly remembers.

Becca Denton had heard a lot about her stepfather’s son, and the reality of him being on the ranch that she considers her own is far more tempting than she had imagined. Her dream of turning the ranch into a haven for wounded vets is one of the things she and Alex share.

Mr. Organized meets Ms. Live-The-Life-That-Comes-At-You. As they get acclimated to the living arrangements working towards a common goal, they find the sparks of attraction as another common anomaly that takes them surprise.

With a good plot that keeps the readers interesting, Nicole Helm pens a charming story as Alex and Becca go through the path of getting to know each other, working side by side and the attraction that progresses into love, the secondary characters add charm, humor and family, “Cowboy Seal Homecoming” is a definite good read cozied up on a couch

The Ultimate Series by Lori Foster is a brilliant compilation of a group of friends, protecting their neighborhood, engaging young kids to keep them out of trouble, creating a haven for troubled teenagers, and throwing muscle in the ring when called upon. And in between all this, they have their own personal demons to face and fight for the love of their lives.

FightingDirty-UltimateSeries4-LoriFoster

Book four in the series, “Fighting Dirty”, finally gives Armie Jacobson his story of pain, redemption and love. As a badass MMA fighter and being the best, he’s got girls falling for him, but his heart beats only for his Rissy aka Merissa Colter. And of course she’s got be his best friend’s sister.

Merissa Colter is classy, independent, tough and a nurturer by nature. She loves her group of friends and she loves Armie to death. Of course convincing Armie of that fact is altogether another fight that she needs to muscle through. Armie and Rissy make an engaging couple what with their witty banter and chemistry flaming the sheets.

I’ve always loved the way Lori Foster makes sure all bases are covered in her romances, be it supporting characters, closing loops and paying attention to details. The whole concept of young MMA fighters taking care of their community is rich in education as well as giving the readers a captivating romance to warm the heart.

Rebecca Zanetti writes some wickedly sexy paranormal and sci-fi stories that keep our adrenaline flowing, with spine chilling confrontations and passionate and lustful encounters that melt even the ice-cold glaciers!

WickedEdge-RealmEnforcers#2-RebeccaZanetti-Nov2015

Book two in the Realm Enforcers,“Wicked Edge” puts Daire Dunne in the cross hairs of beauty and danger. As the enforcer of the Coven Nine he has his job cut out for him, but nothing prepares him for the drugged lust and attraction he feels for the sexy Cee Cee, little knowing that this is one dangerous lady on a mission.

Cee Cee finally has the intel to avenge the death of her family. With the people responsible for the death of her husband in sight, she has no time for the alpha Daire or his rules. But a lady gotta do what she’s gotta do to reach her goal as she kicks ass and Daire is one unhappy enforcer left woozy!. Circumstances put them in each other’s company to protect Cee Cee and keep her safe as he supports her in her mission.

And what we get is another action packed story as Rebecca Zanetti takes her readers on a ride of danger, death, betrayal and love. It amazes me the plot that she comes up to keep her readers captivated and have them at the edge of their seats! And it is no easy task to keep a series going with the same momentum and passion!

Last man standing Adam Baudouin finally falls for the girl-next-door-everyone’s-friend Harper Owens, in the fitting finale of Marina Adair’s Heroes Of St. Helena Series. I enjoyed each love story of the Baudouin brothers and their tryst with their sassy heroines. Needless to say that this series was my first read of Marina Adair and she’s warmed into my heart with her charming and captivating stories.NeedYouForMine-StHelenaHeroes-MarinaAdair

Harper Owens needs Adam Baudouin as much as he needs her for himself. What starts off as pretend relationship to save her lingerie store and get him a promotion, both Harper and Adam never saw the fire that ignites between them. Their chemistry is hot, connection is soul deep, and the empathy and caring they have for each other takes them by surprise. Throw in a generous dose of wit and family meddling, you’ve got one sexy read of a romance.

Harper is just this colorful, ultra sweet and an amazingly good person, and Adam compliments her with his protective and helpful, the imperfectly perfect hero for his heroine. “Need You For Mine” is a dazzling narration and writing prowess of Marina that keeps the story interesting and brings a chuckle as Harper and Adam muddle through relationship to get their happily ever after.HeroesOfStHelena-MarinaAdair

From “Need You For Keeps” to “Need You For Always”, to finally “Need You For Mine”, Marina weaves heartwarming stories of the Baudouin brothers, considered as the Heroes of St. Helena.
