Jack Rowan is trying to get his life back in construction after a stint in prison for a crime he never committed, but made a choice to sacrifice for his brother. A job instigated by his brother takes him to Juniper Hills, and his one and only love since his teens Emma Stevens. A perfect opportunity and yet a scary one to mend the relationship with Emma, and “All There Is” for Jake is patience, perseverance and some luck to get the love of his life back into his arms.

Emma Stevens has made a life for herself and her sister, leaving a past that burned to the ground, yet the guilt of losing her stepbrother to a fire never left her heart. Running a successful bakery and having made a fresh start, coming face to face with the boy next door she had loved and hates, was something that she had ever dreamed. But now thrown into a situation with Jake helping her fix her bakery, “All There Is” left for Emma is to let go of the past and giving this second chance of love giving it a shot.

Every book of Violet Duke’s always seems to give me a glimpse of the author herself. Endurance, hard work and perseverance is the norm of her heroines, as well as in real life and she reiterates the fact that there are so many good people in this world who are kind and helpful, and that all is not lost. With a positive attitude and courage, she pours her heart and soul into these wonderful stories of love, forgiveness, hope and faith.

The wait is over as Violet Duke’s latest release, “Every Night Without You”, finally brings Caine Spencer and Addison Millan face to face after seven long years of separation.

Part one of Caine’s and Addison’s love story, “Before That Night”, came to an abrupt halt when Addison disappears to save Caine’s future. And now after all these years, the union of these is just bittersweet, tender and a balm to an aching heart. Sacrificing her love, and hiding in plain sight, Addison had built a life for her and her siblings, with help from some amazingly kind people, and had created a haven for people who need a roof and food to survive. Her success is no easy feat as Violet Duke narrates her journey with so much passion, care and emotion.

Staying away from Addison was one of the toughest things for Caine, and now that he had found her, he’s never letting her go until his last breath. He’s proud of her success and now that she’s come into plain sight, he will do anything to keep her safe and protect her from any danger…and from all the handsome men she had made friends in the seven years!!! Talk about being jealous!!!!

This is one amazing narration of Caine and Addison’s reunion, as well as all the secondary characters and the Spencer brothers thrown in together as they rally around to protect Addison. The chemistry between these two is even more charismatic, the dialogues are loaded with laugh out loud wit, and the entire plot of love and mystery is just as captivating and endearing to read.

Violet Duke’s latest “Unfinished Loved Series”, is about four brothers who find love but lose only to get another chance down the years to reclaim it. It’s fresh, it’s new and it makes it even more emotional and romantic to wait for that HEA…few years from now in book time.

Second in the Unfinished Series, “Before That Promise” (Part 1) is the love story of Skylar Sullivan from the “Can’t Resist” series and Drew Lawson from the “Cactus Creek” series. Anyone following Violet’s series would remember these two when they were young and trying to fit into families and live a normal life.

beforethatpromise-drewskylar1-violetduke-dec2016

Drew and Skylar are the best of friends growing up and best of friends grown up. Careers and life may have taken these two on different paths, but their path to love has always been one track and only towards each other. Super smart, handsome and intelligent Drew Lawson is the quite, silent and an angry teenager having grown into a responsible and sought after young cyber hacker consulting and providing high tech protection to some very high profile individuals and company. Christmas doesn’t sit very well with him and relationships and roots may not be in his cyber list!

Skylar Sullivan is one vivacious, spunky and smart young lady working towards becoming a social worker. Her chemistry with Drew is amazing, her crush on Drew even as a young teenager is ultra charming, and with the Spencer brothers as her guardians, it’s even funny that they never realized her love for their foster brother.

The second book in the series, “Before That Promise” (Part 1) is another short and charming love story as Drew and Skylar try to come to terms with their love for each other and make themselves a promise to be there for each other and a promise to fulfill their love for each other. Can’t wait to read the second part of their love story in “Every Promise Unspoken”…. coming soon.

Anytime I think of Violet Duke, I picture this ball of positive energy with wings, a wand in one hand sprinkling pixie dust of romance and brandishing with the other a pen to write the most alluring and charismatic of love stories!!!

And that brings us to her new “Unfinished Loved Series”, about four brothers who find love but lose only to get another chance down the years to reclaim it. It’s fresh, it’s new and it makes it even more emotional and romantic to wait for that HEA.

BeforeThatNight-UnfinishedSeriesCaineAddison-Jun2016

First in the series, “Before That Night” has a young teenager Addison Millan trying to survive through sheer determination to take care of her younger siblings as they live in a beat up van. Having lost a roof and a mother to drugs, her abandonment only motivates Addison to create a better life. Always with a smile and a kind word, working as a waitress and a caretaker, she adds positivity and courage to her resume.

Her immense strength and smile draws the gruff and tough cop Caine Spencer to the diner everyday and that everyday leads to conversations that turn into friendship and the flare of attraction that kindles between them is kept at bay given the circumstances. But all that changes instantly as Addison gets into the crosshairs of an obsessive diner, blackmailing her with the secret that she’s been hiding.

And that one incident creates a domino effect of consequences even as Addison and Caine fall in love with each other. As her secret see the light of day, it comes down to final straw if Caine is going to go against the oath he had taken as a cop and support Addison. And is Addison brave enough to make the biggest decision of her young life…and if she goes with the choice she’s making, will her love survive…. for a second chance….

Another brilliant, captivating and an emotional love story, all Violet Duke style full of love and care, friendship and support, warmth and family.

Can’t wait to read the second installment “Every Night Without You” as Addison comes back into Caine’s life, the unanswered questions, sacrifice and the love that never died for seven long years!

Jackson'sTrust-FourthDownSeries-VioletDuke

Whether the heroine is a chocolate connoisseur or an expert in arms, a shrewd business lady or a super smart sports analyst, Violet Duke writes each character within their fields of strength with so much detail and aplomb, it’s hard not falling for them and their charm. I love her attention to detail and every dialogue brings a chuckle or a smile…. and sometimes a tear.

And Leila Hart is not far behind in giving Jackson Gray a ride for his pedestal of sports fanaticism and analytical skills. Hiding her skills as a sports analyst close to her heart, Leila Hart is trying hard to blend into the background and concentrate on fulfilling her dream of becoming a college and pro football reporter.

Her smile kicks Jackson Gray in the gut, and her intelligence only convinces him that she’s hiding things that he wants to know, play by play. As his Sunshine shuffles and evades, Jackson strategizes and plays to win her heart. And what you get in “Jackson’s Trust”, is a story full of witty dialogues, panty melting wooing, a few sacks and turnovers, huddles and touchdowns as Jackson and Leila race to the end zone.

And that my fellow readers is a brilliant touchdown!!!!
