Love reading Jeannie Moon!!!! And “This Christmas” takes you right into the hearts of Sabrina and Jake.

But now they face off in the winter chills of Christmas and Jake wants his questions answered.

Both Jake and Sabrina are in love with each other, yet the past pain and choices made seem to surround them in a coat of insecurity and mistrust. This is a charming love story of two beautiful people who, so in love with each other that being together scares them as much. Jeannie Moon did an enchanting job of bringing Jake and Sabrina and a love that was lost a decade ago.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS – JENNIFER GRACEN

AllIWantFrorChristmas-JenniferGracen-Nov2014

The magic of “Christmas In New York series” continues with “All I Want For Christmas”, as Jennifer Gracen weaves an enlightening web around Cassandra and Sean, a love that lost its wings seven years ago.

Cassandra Baines is successful as the youngest assistant English Lit professor at NYU, has a wonderful circle of friends, a loving family and she loves the city she lives in. Yet, she yearns for that one man who can make it all the more fulfilling and share her life. And her wish brings her up close and personal with her first love Sean McKinnon.

Musician and bar owner Sean McKinnon has no idea what hit him, when he sees HIS Cassie in his bar. He had loved Cassie with his soul, but social barriers and his own insecurities have taken Sean away from Cassie and he hasn’t been the same ever since. But now fate has brought Cassie to him and he has no intention of letting go.

But Cassie and Sean have a lot of catching up to do in dealing with the past that broke them apart and the future that is precariously on the ledge. Cassie may seem the eve confident, intellectual woman, but she needs Sean to balance her life, and Sean needs to get over his social restrictions and trust Cassie with his heart.

Jennifer Gracen does a fine job of exploring the feelings and uncertainties in their relationship, giving them the maturity of putting their fears to rest for a beautiful future together.

I love Rachel Grant and her Evidence Series. Body Of Evidence (Book 2) is a brilliantly crafted story of political mayhem and corruption with the innocents in the crosshairs of war and death.

Archeologist Mara Garrett’s job is to retrieve dead GIs and bring them home. Excavating in North Korea, she never dreams that she would end being arrested, labeled as a spy and sentenced to death.

BodyOfEvidence-RachelGrant-Oct2014

US Attorney Curt Dominic is her only saving grace, but unfortunately this ambitious attorney is prosecuting her uncle who was the former Vice President. Curt has enough evidence to bring Mara’s uncle to justice, but still needs her as a key witness to testify.

Curt literally saves Mara from facing the firing squad within seconds to spare, and the trip back to the US ends up being sabotaged. What started off as a rescue quickly turns into a deadly game of danger and death. With a known enemy on their trail, Mara and Curt have to trust each other to keep their bodies breathing.

Body Of Evidence is a fabulous ride of thrill and suspense as Mara and Curt try to outwit the enemy across the globe. Mara and Curt is an intoxicating couple and Rachel Grant has done a stupendous job writing them. With passion sizzling between them, and a trial that keeps them apart, loyalties are tested, and love is put in the crosshairs of a conspiracy that not only threatens to tear them apart but also puts national security at risk.

I thought Concrete Evidence (Book 1) was an adrenaline rush, but Body Of Evidence beats it with guns blazing!

Emmy Curtis has a basket with a bottomless pit of alpha heroes, taking us on a ride of adrenaline rush, and into territories with danger and conspiracy galore. And with their every step, is a courageous and sassy heroine doing her job of supporting her man and her country.

The third book in her Alpha Ops, “Pushing The Limit” is another thrilling ride as a hero airman meets an archeologist in the dangerous sands of Afghanistan. Henrietta “Harry” Markowitz and Matt Stanning have a steamy one night at a friend’s wedding and part ways with no intention of a reunion. But as fate would have it, Matt is sent over to Afghanistan as a liaison to Henry, as her team discovers a piece of a war plane, and it’s Matt’s job to bring home the truth and the war heroes to rest.

PushingTheLimit-EmmyCurtis-Nov2014

Pushed into working together, Matt and Henry realize they are facing more than just finding the downed plane and getting to the bottom of the discovery. As a conspiracy comes to light, it’s Matt’s job to protect the woman he’s come to love or die trying to keep her safe. As loyalties are tested and surprising secrets come to light, Emmy Curtis keeps the pulse of the readers beating at double pace with her thrilling narration.

Steamy passion between the sheets, danger in the dry desert heat, and getting over the fact that Henry is his fallen brother-in-arms widow, Matt has to trust his heart to make the right decision. And Henry is not giving up on Matt so easy either.

Pushing The Limit is another great thrilling read, beyond her second book “Over The Limit”.

…And I love how Dylan loves Grace and I love how Bella Andre still charms the pants off her readers…. period!

The Sullivans continue to pleasure us with their unconditional love, support and empathy. It’s hard to believe there are people like Dylan Sullivan, or for that matter, the whole Sullivan family, with simple and pure hearts. And lucky for single mother Grace Adrian, that she’s come across Dylan in her life.

ILoveHowYouLoveMe-SeattleSullivans-DylanGrace-Oct2014

Dylan Sullivan is born in the Seattle Sullivan brood and cousin to the California Sullivans. A renowned boat builder, he falls for Grace and her adorable son the second he lays eyes on them. They become his own, the minute Grace speaks and her son goes into his arms and they become his life the hour Grace and Dylan get to know each other and he takes her to visit his family. Dylan is one of the most charming and lovable Sullivans, living a simple life building boats, cruising the oceans, and weathering the storms in his calm style. But he is the alpha protector when it comes to his family, own or extended and he would leave no stone unturned to protect Grace and her son from her past…and he doesn’t think twice to bring his family as a shield around them.

Grace Adrian’s world fell apart when she got pregnant and realizes that she is the ugly secret of a rich society guy. She moves far away from her past to build a decent life for herself and her son. A freelance and fabulous writer, her project of writing about Dylan Sullivan, brings them face-to-face and it is instant attraction for Grace. As Dylan envelopes her within the folds of his wonderful family, Grace is hopeful that she may have found her Prince Charming, yet scared of her heart getting broken by the handsome and charismatic sailor who loves to sail on the seas.

This is one of those stories that gives you orgasmic contentment or make you shred the book because you don’t have a guy like Dylan Sullivan in your life…and I sure hope everyone goes with the first feeling and enjoy Dylan and Grace and the whole entourage as much as I have and will….Sullivans-FamilyTree

We may as well as accept the truth – Sullivans are addictive and you can’t escape them!

Lenora Worth is a first time read for me and her new book “Deadly Holiday Reunion” brings together Texas Ranger Jake Cavanaugh and retired FBI agent Ella Terrell, when Jake’s teenage daughter gets kidnapped; a kidnapper with deadly intentions and very familiar to Ella, from who she barely escaped with her life.

DeadlyHolidayReunion-LenoraWorth-Nov2014

Now Ella has to face the monster from the past to save Jake’s daughter Macey, even if she has to give herself to the killer in exchange for Macey. But Jake is not about to give up on the second chance he’s got with Ella, and would do anything to get back his daughter and keep Ella at her side. Racing against time, and with misleading clues dropped by the killer this is one game that Jake and Ella intend to win and put the killer to rest permanently.

The plot is good, the characters sounded nice, yet the narration lacked conviction and interest for me. I felt it was a tad too lengthy and repetitive of what Jake and Ella are feeling and going through.

It is still a decent one time read.
