The Taming Of The Bachelor – Good Read

I’ve always liked reading Jane Porter and her charming love stories. They are sweet, emotional, fun – all ingredients that make them worthy reads.

Sexy and nerdy Dillon Sheenan and the pretty and widow Paige Doffe make an ultra sweet couple as they explore the sparks of attraction that defies age. Dillon always had a sweet spot for Paige, yet kept his distance due to the age difference and her marriage. But now the field is open, yet he hesitates, as he’s ready to leave Marietta for good.

The responsibilities of being a single mom and keeping her diner going, leaves no time for anything, no matter how tempting Dillon makes it. Yet she cannot deny her attraction for him or keep from losing her heart to him. Paige is just a wonderful person, working hard, kind and never pushes Dillon or expects anything in life, but is grateful for what she has and nothing more and nothing less.

“The Taming Of The Bachelor” will give you the laughs with the tears, the pain with the love, the insecurities with new chances and a couple that realize they are meant to be together.

Midnight Secrets – Danger In The Dark

Lisa Marie Rice’s “Midnight Series” continue to thrill, captivate, and charm readers. The entire team of SEALS is now hitched and it’s wonderful seeing them being a part of the continuing books. With loyalty and friendship running deep, support and protection being unconditional, and love and passion ruling the hearts, it is always a pleasure to read Lisa Marie Rice

Joe Harris’s been in love with his neighbor Isabel Devlaux since the time she moved into his neighborhood, not know her true identity. Clawing back from the doors of death, he can easily recognize that Isabel is fragile and has been injured badly. He silently helps her fix things, keeps his distance, yet guards her like a hawk and is ultra protective of her, and will do anything to keep her safe from the danger that seems to surround her.

Isabel Devlaux may have survived the Washington Massacre, but her entire political family had been wiped out as part of a terrorist attack, at the event of her father’s presidential announcement. You can’t help but fall in love with Joe and Isabel. Isabel flourishes under Joe’s care, and she gets back her confidence and courage to bring down the ones responsible for her family’s death. Filled with emotions and love, friendships and family, hope and encouragement, “Midnight Secrets will keep you entertained and pleased.

As always Lisa Marie Rice does what she’s best at – writing amazing stories of love and courage. creating fictional characters who charm the pants off readers, and bring those characters into every book for a visit.

A short and intense read, “Midnight Secrets” is a definite pleaser!

I’ve missed Hope Falls and it’s totally orgasmic to revisit it and the wonderful characters have made the Hope Falls Series memorable and unforgettable.

The sister duo of Melanie and Shawna take the readers back to Hope Falls, to Shelby Kellan and the sexy and private Levi Dorsey. Shelby is coming back home to the safety of her family and the support of her friends, to escape a traumatic and abusive breakup. Hiding the truth from family and wanting to recuperate emotionally as she decides her future, Hope Falls is the perfect safety net. Or so she thinks until she faces Levi and ends up working in his bar.

The quiet and private ex detective Levi Dorsey wants to keep his life that – quiet and private. And private with his thoughts of Shelby and the perfect kiss they had shared more than a year ago. Another simple, charming and a perfect love story, with all its imperfections, Melanie Shawn weaves magic to my heart’s content with Shelby and Levi. The detective in him realizes the pain behind Shelby and yet gives her the space to trust him enough with her fears. As for Shelby, as educated and savvy she may be, it takes courage and immense strength for any woman to break away from domestic abuse. She needs support, love and the security of family and friends, to protect and help her mend and as that abused woman Shelby is just perfect.

Captivating and charming, sizzling and hot, emotional and intense, “Perfect Kiss” is simply a perfect love story that would appeal to the heart and leave a smile of pure happiness.

Just For Appearances – Beauty In Its Simplicity!

Dang!!! I’m such a sucker for love stories and happily ever-afters, for guys who can work as nannies in all their sexy hide and independent woman who try not asking for help, yet want to be taken care of and doted.

“Just For Appearances”, John MacDonald is helping Rachel Clarke take care of her sons for the summer as she starts a new job, and in return John needs Rachel’s help promoting John’s idea of building Lake Bliss Youth Center. Just for appearances they are employer and employee.

But they have a history between them. They have unresolved issues between them and they have unanswered questions that need closure. Yet the desire, passion and love is one thing that remained constant between them, and that is one thing now that has them in each other’s arms. Then again at the end of summer, will love be enough to hold John to Rachel and Lake Bliss, and is Rachel strong enough to nurse a broken heart the second time round….or is everything just for appearance?

This is just one of most sweetest love stories I’ve read recently. Jenna Rutland gives John and Rachel an amazing characterization of the most adorable couple. Rachel as the single mother raising three boys is just pure golden and John with his open heart, support and intuition is perfect as the nanny and a confidant to the boys and their needs.

Jenna does a super fine job with the narration and the flow of the story. It’s charming, its emotional, its witty and one heck of a romantic read for everyone!

“Just For Appearances” will be appearing on shelves on April 14, 2015.
