Kendra Elliot is on the fast lane of being a brilliant writer of thrillers and each one surpasses the last one she had penned. Book 4 of her Callahan and McLane Series, “Targeted” takes the readers on a ride of hatred and revenge as a mask of evil covers the law enforcement.

An all-men vacation of some members of the OSO ends in the gruesome murder of their Captain, Danny Schefte, leaving Mason Callahan and the rest of the team reeling with shock and disbelief of the heinous kill. As more bodies are found, FBI steps in along with Ava McLane and the search and clues lead to Mason being the target. And Ava has her job cut out trying to save the love of her life and deal with personal revelations of a past her mother had kept secret.

More than the suspense and the ultimate bagging of the perpetrator, what always captivates me is the brilliant plotting of the story by Kendra. Be it professional or personal, emotional or sentimental, dramatic or intriguing, her attention to detail is flawless, narration is gripping and the dialogues and action have the perfect impact on the reader.

“Mason’s heart jumped as Ava stepped out of the her vehicle…her low voice that always set his stomach aflutter. Fluttering in a masculine way.”

I just love the way Kendra has made sure that every book of the series shows progress in Mason’s and Ava’s journey. The talk between Zander and Ava is beautifully penned with care and support and this would remain as one of my most unforgettable moments of a beautiful friendship. Ava and Mason’s confidence in each other and their solidarity are in full bloom as they deal with Ava’s psychotic sister. And Ava’s face to face with a past that she’s totally unaware of is a brilliant left field knockout!

“Targeted” is a perfect combination of romance and love, suspense and thrill, support and friendship that targets your heart with the satisfaction of reading a well-written novel.

Rebecca Zanetti writes some wickedly sexy paranormal and sci-fi stories that keep our adrenaline flowing, with spine chilling confrontations and passionate and lustful encounters that melt even the ice-cold glaciers!

WickedEdge-RealmEnforcers#2-RebeccaZanetti-Nov2015

Book two in the Realm Enforcers,“Wicked Edge” puts Daire Dunne in the cross hairs of beauty and danger. As the enforcer of the Coven Nine he has his job cut out for him, but nothing prepares him for the drugged lust and attraction he feels for the sexy Cee Cee, little knowing that this is one dangerous lady on a mission.

Cee Cee finally has the intel to avenge the death of her family. With the people responsible for the death of her husband in sight, she has no time for the alpha Daire or his rules. But a lady gotta do what she’s gotta do to reach her goal as she kicks ass and Daire is one unhappy enforcer left woozy!. Circumstances put them in each other’s company to protect Cee Cee and keep her safe as he supports her in her mission.

And what we get is another action packed story as Rebecca Zanetti takes her readers on a ride of danger, death, betrayal and love. It amazes me the plot that she comes up to keep her readers captivated and have them at the edge of their seats! And it is no easy task to keep a series going with the same momentum and passion!

The last book in the Dark Kings Series has the Dragon Kings of the Realm going through a major upheaval as their secrets have being aired to the mortals and the impending war just seems to bubble slowly to a boiling point. Amidst the war, the Dragon Kings seem to find love and passion. As each Dragon King finds his mate, the forces of evil refuse to stay in the shadows even as the powerful forces of the realm seem to take sides.

Smoke&Fire-DragonKings-DonnaGrant

“Smoke And Fire” gives dragon shifter Ryder his mate and his love story. Ryder is helping protect and guard Glasgow as Dark seems to stalk the streets and death seems inevitable to the humans. With new Dark comes new danger. Ryder has his hands full with keeping his mate Kinsey safe and guard against Ulrich’s unexpected moves.

This story is more a filler to bring Ryder and Kinsey together. There are too many secrets in the realm that seems to give this war a whole another definition. Although have it in good authority that big secrets are to be revealed in the next few stories.

The cover is fabulous, the story a more filler leading to the big fire and secrets only add to the speculation and suspense of what may be the outcome for the Dragon Kings. And Donna Grant keeps the plot moving along.

A new author, a new book and a new series! There’s nothing more satisfying than reading someone new and liking them instantly. Katie Ruggle is a new author on the block and she has done exceptionally well with her tryst with writing.

HoldYourBreath-RockyMountainSearch#2-KatieRuggle

“Hold Your Breath” takes you on a chilling ride of murder, intrigue and romance as Louise and Callum try to solve a murder that opens up on a routine diving class. As the captain of the ice dive team for the Search and Rescue, he’s a pro at what he does, but when the vivacious and newbie on the team is in his vicinity he loses all his bearings. And when Lou’s life is threatened, all his protective instincts kick in high gear.

Lou escapes to the dangerous Rockies to get away from her controlling family and an ex-boyfriend. Rescuing people gives her a purpose in life and being in the brotherhood of her team gives her a protective and caring family that she’s never got. And Callum takes special place in her heart as they work together to solve a murder. And even the frozen Rockies can’t seem to freeze the blaze of passion that erupts between them.

A very good start to a thrilling series and Katie manages to keep the interest and suspense going until the end. The chemistry between Callum and Lou is sublime and the banter between them keeps the sizzle intact. Ruggle did a good job of creating charismatic characters and the narration is tight and detailed.

A definite good read for me. Do not miss the prequel novella of the series “On His Watch”, a thrilling start to her new series!
