Book 6 of her infamous “She Can Series” starts off with an explosion in Argentina and brings us to the US along with Christopher and his daughter Lucia. As an assassin and son-in-law of a powerful arms dealer, circumstances bring Cristan to the US to make a safe haven for his daughter and give her a normal life.

As we all know, the past always catches up with the present if there’s no closure and secrets tend to cause rifts between loved ones, Putting roots in Westbury, Pennsylvania may be the best for his daughter, but his past catches all his loved ones and friends in the crossfire of a lady bent on revenge. And Cristan Rojas would do anything to protect his family and the woman he has come to love in his present life.

SheCanKill-SheCanSeries#6-Dec2015

Sarah is trying to make a new life with her two young toddlers, after divorcing her abusive husband. Feelings for Cristan give her hope for a better future, and her love for his daughter only strengthens her faith that she may have a happy ending. But a demented ex-husband can’t seem to let go of her, and Cristan’s past may actually put Sarah in the path of danger and death.

“She Can Kill” has so much happening with enough suspense to last until the last page. I loved the ending of this story – there may be bad people in the world, but sometimes they do have a streak of humanity in them. Circumstances and family background may give them their identity, but what they choose to become as an adult is the choice they make.

Melinda Leigh has become one of the top suspense writers and has become on of my favorites to read. I love her attention to details as well as how well she connects the past and the present, bring together the chemistry of family and friends with unwritten support and help. Emotions in place, danger every minute, love trying to survive, Melinda blends a spectrum of death to love in a brilliant narration of “She Can Kill.”

From the publication of her very first book “When You Are Ready” to her latest “Forgetting August”, Jennifer L. Berg has become an illustrious writer molding raw into a finesse of penning a story. She’s become very eloquent in her narration, and description of emotions and keeps every character in her heart and writes with her soul. Many instances, interesting sub-plots, timelines and details, not an easy task for any writer and Berg has managed to foray into the limelight as a bestseller and looks like she will stay there.

ForgettingAugust-Lost&Found#1-J.Berg

A simple story of two people so much in love and yet their lives fall apart into pieces around them. There’s nothing more terrible than waking up from a coma with no memories and losing your self to a world that has gone by while you were sleeping. August Kincaid wants to hold onto that one piece of his past, Everly to find himself and the person Everly has come to hate. As much as he wants her back, he’ll do anything to keep Everly safe, even if it means letting her go.

For Everly, life’s given her a chance at a future that could have all been hers, yet that one phone call stating August was awake, sends her into a roller-coaster of feelings that she wants buried. But then fate has a different plan for her and her destiny seems to be the dangerous August. Oscillating between feelings of fear and love for August, Everly has to choose the path that would keep her heart happy and this time running away may not be the answer.

But then sometimes second chances can be deadly and a heart betrayed may not recover.…forever! And August Kincaid may lose the very breath of his life in trying to find himself.

“Forgetting August” is book one of J.L Berg’s new series “Lost And Found”. Rich with emotions of love and hatred, desperation and helplessness, hope and faith, Jennifer takes the readers on a ride filled with raw needs and craving for a love that can be the death of a relationship. She did a fabulous job of portraying two individuals with a bucketload of need and pain, love and passion and the million things that can break a couple and the consequences of their actions. Yet she fills the pages with a glimmer of hope that love can be rekindled, with the uncertainties and the fears of a normal human.

Anyone who’s read Samantha Chase’s last Montgomery book knows that we got a glimpse of Zach Montgomery and his life and his right hand lady Gabriella and her life within the Montgomery business. And let’s not forget the matchmaking uncles and their manipulative plans to push their kids in the right direction of love.

What can I say about Zach Montgomery? An athlete and a successful businessman on a constant run, he is virile, strong and never is dependent anyone. Living by his own rules and getting things much easy than most others, a mountain climbing accident leaves him numb, dependent and totally out of control. Never having to ask for help, the situation only makes him a grouch and uses his disability to push away his family and friends.

I'llBeThere-Montgomerys#6-SamanthaChase-Dec2015

Gabriella has been working long enough with Zach to know his every move and the torment he is going through. But she can be equally stubborn and tenacious to help Zach get his life back into control. Patience and love for Zach motivates her even further to war off the meanness that Zach seems to throw at her.

Samantha Chase does a brilliant job characterizing a strong man who goes through pain and helplessness, mental and physical torment, the long journey of recovery and the emotional upheaval he finds himself in. You want to help him, kill him, shake him and knock his head with a baseball bat to have him see and listen to some sense, but then that is the amazing writing of Chase.

Gabriella will want to make us cry and hug her at the same time, give her pep talks and tell her to find someone worthy of her, she makes us proud of her individuality and loyalty, hope and faith that things will get better. She is an amazingly strong and loving woman who values family and ethics, friendship and relationships, and never gives up on things or people that she cares for life.

And there you have it. “I’ll Be There” is another entertaining story of a Montgomery brother, who really has to work hard to get the love of his life, and gain back her trust to have a future with a promise to be there forever. And Samantha Chase sure has grown leaps and bounds with each story she’s been weaving and wowing her readers.

Savannah Stuart is one of the best writers of short novellas. She keeps the screenplay tight, the suspense close, danger on the edge and passion scorching as the fire. No matter how short her stories are she leaves not much room for missing key elements.

DangerousDeception-KatieReus-Nov2015

“Dangerous Deception” is just that. – a short story of evil and betrayal, passion and love. A fight to save herself from death and a mad killer, Sage Miller leaves a traumatic past and a one night of pure love and passion to make a new beginning. But then the past rears its ugly head along with her one nightstand, Trent Takoda.

Trent had been searching for Sage since the night they heated the sheets and the flames refuse to be doused even a bit. Finding Sage so close to home only increase his love for her and this ex-Navy SEAL is not letting a mad stalker take her away.

And as always her characters make an impact with their courage, integrity and chemistry that just makes us want more of them.

Another scorching, adrenaline pumping narration from Savannah Stuart, that is worth every penny!
